Feedback Guild Battlegrounds

It is an OK Number - He spoke of the Diamond league - lower leagues will have (much) lower rewards.

Most people that would end up in Diamond league have FP harvests far beyond 300 FP/day anyway - and that is only the fixed amount.

Thanks, I'd overlooked the mention of being in diamond league - it does sound fairly reasonable in that case.

How will guilds be deemed active/inactive?
Based on whether or not they're doing actions in Battlegrounds. If guilds don't do actions in Battlegrounds, they'll be marked as inactive so that they're not added to future match making. At that point they'll need to manually "sign up" for battlegrounds so they can partake/be matched up in the next one.

It seems low 40 battles a day for an advanced player.
I would have preferred more than 100. Otherwise it will not replace the GvG
This is not meant to replace GvG. GvG will stand there. Battlegrounds are a new feature.

What is the incrementation please ?

I'm not sure the intent is to entirely replace GvG, since GvG isn't being removed. Rather, it's an additional area to fight/negotiate in and also is something available to mobile players.

If a guild didn't contribute enough during a battleground (i.e. they didn't even get to conquer two or so provinces), then they are marked as inactive and will not be matchmade anymore.
However, ANY member of that guild can decide to manually sign up his/her guild for the next season (since it will not harm the other members if his guild participates).
A guild may slowly drop in leagues if they stay inactive for too long.

EDIT:
Too slow. What phantom said. :D

May sound low to some, but if the differences between players are too vast, then the contribution of low members may feel almost useless, and it can too strongly lead to guilds kicking members that cannot even remotely catch up with high members.

The increments of attrition for fights start slow (i.e. 2% per level) and then get more severe per level, until they increase by 20% each level until reaching the hardcap of 1750%.
Negotiations will require +1 good for each try every few attrition levels.

Thanks for the answer. Another question : the increments of attrition (2% to 20% each level) it's for attack AND defense or defense only

It will affect defense & attack values of the enemy units.

Are there any plans to implement a possibility to raise the attacking def bonus, beside the current 4 GBs?
300% is already kind of hard to get.

Will fighting with 2 units and 6 Rouges be possible (gvg gex) or will the continent ai be implemented

It's pretty much unfair to give an hardcap on the strength of hostile
armies while negotiations don't have an hardcap and becoming
progressive more expansive, while fights won't becoming harder
after hitting the hardcap imo.

a comment from the German forums:

"why a hard cap? - will players that acquired future units in a lower age (e.g. hover tanks in Industrial Age or similar) and good GB not be able to easily beat 1750%?"

@drakenridder Negotiation does have a cap as well, at 20 goods per offer. This was mentioned in an earlier post, but the one you quoted was only clarifying how much attrition affects fighting and negotiation each time it increases.

Both battle and negotiation have a cap, because the cap is essentially on the attrition level itself. It goes up to 100, but not beyond. So both the attack/defense of the enemy armies as well as the costs for negotiations, do not increase beyond that point.

If such new GBs get implemented it wouldn't be part of Guild Battlegrounds itself / not with the current content for it.

The continent map AI is specific for itself. In other places (Expeditions, Quests, Exploration Sites) and including Battlegrounds, the other AI behavior is used. There's a general misconception here though, there is no such "attack Rogues first" behavior. With that specific AI it favors attacking Rogues, but still many other factors are taken into considerations so that's not a definite "must attack Rogues first" behavior.

Thanks for the clear answer

Will it be like with the guild expeditions and members who joined after start of a round will have to wait? Are guilds with only one member able to participate or is it the same as with the guild expeditions?

Correct, if you join a guild after the battleground has already started, you will need to wait for the next battleground to be able to participate.

There is no required number of members to participate. One-member guilds can also play.

Thank you. So once again new features not capitalising on existing features. Can you instruct your developper to keep coherent.
While developing "Support Pool" at the beginning, it should be used afterward. ...
Support pool is GvG exclusive. What's so hard to understand?
Use it for GvG and be happy or don't use it and be happy, too.
