Build the town of a foreign culture and finish their questline to receive unique and powerful rewards. For now we only have the Vikings, but later more will be added and you will be able to choose what culture you want to help next.
Among the final rewards of the Vikings there are some little helpers, which you can select in the Town Hall of the Main City and which you can use to individualize the output of the Town Hall.
You have all the time in the world to complete a settlement and get the main prize but if you do it within the established timeframe you will receive additional rewards.
Every settlement will have stone formations that can’t be moved or deleted so you have to work around them. They are placed differently in every new settlement.
Establish a Relationship
To develop the outpost, produce unique Cultural Goods and improve your relationship with the selected culture by building diplomacy buildings.
The production of Cultural Goods is similar to the production of city Goods, except starting a production requires a resource that you gather within your settlement.
Unlike city Goods, Cultural Goods cannot be traded with other players. Once you are done with your current settlement, your stock of Cultural Goods stays with that settlement. Starting a new settlement means you must build up your stock of Cultural Goods again.
With each completed settlement that gives a unique reward, your chance for bonus production will increase for the next settlement you start of that culture. When this chance gets triggered upon collection, you will get four times the amount of produced Cultural Goods!
Embassy Advancements
To finish the questline of this culture, you need to unlock new buildings in the Embassy. Buildings further along the advancements are generally more powerful, so it pays off to unlock them.
To unlock advancements, you will need more and more diplomacy, which is always reflected by the sum of all diplomacy buildings that you currently have in the settlement.
The second requirement to unlock advancement is to pay Cultural Goods that you need to produce within the corresponding buildings.
Repeat Your Success
Once the questline is finished, the Outpost becomes self-sustainable and vanishes. You can then select a culture again to do another playthrough!
To receive the last upgrade for the main reward you have to complete 15 settlements of one culture. After 15 main prizes are collected the reward for every next settlement of that culture will be 50 FPs.
It‘s really cute how you try to figure out what you get as prizes.
Yes, you get the upgradekits for one of the main buildings by finishing the settlement, but you don‘t get the upgradekits for the second building in the same way. That would be too easy
Kirk Douglas? Tony Curtis? Vikings or slaves from Roman provinces?
Did the Roman Empire reached Norway or Denmark? I do not think they reached that far north.
It will be on our app for Beta testing, but as is often the case here on Beta, the app will not have the full functionality that the browser will until we release the next version of the app. This usually happens a week or so after initial release. So when we do release this for testing, expect some things to not be quite right on the app at first.
