I too have ad blocking software and extensions installed (you can tell I am not a fan of such).
But here's my thing about them... why put something like an ad in something that has been working well for a very long time? They did that with Youtube (got an ad blocker extension active that I just watch videos without the interruptions; need that for the TV and PS4); they did that with Facebook (I usually skip the video to the next when that happens); and they did that with majority of the (video ads; the banner ads are of the way of the dodo - extinct) sites I visit to read upon that takes up memory that sometimes I have to close the browser and restart it because it locked up.
That's my prejudice on that.
Now, I don't have this aid-all feature along with the other stuff that was displayed on
@-NinjAlin-'s post. If they (Inno) didn't have to make this tie in with ads (or some gimmick out there), this would have been a real improvement; a real step in the right direction. I might even overlook the 1k FP bar fill up in that overpriced package they got going there because of this. However, as the saying goes, "one step forward, two steps backwards" is how I am looking at this right now.
My suggestion to Inno: just keep your stupid ads out of the game and put them into some place because those bouncy icons do take up memory and resources, and in a big city as mine, 100+ icon'd items waiting to be collected at the same time does take a toll on things, including lag.
