Well one way to allow smaller guilds to be able to participate more, would be to remove the lock feature. With no locks, the smaller guilds could always be doing advances. To make it even more interesting, only award points when a sector is taken.

Oh that would be so abusable - top guilds in farming arrangements could be fighting nonstop all day long in zero-attrition setups for individual awards. Making 10s of thousands of FP a day.

We have development guilds, friends and family guilds, small rest stop guilds, diamond players guilds, power GBG guilds power GvG guilds and every mix in between. Yet all end up in the same league in GBG.
A perfect solution is not possible but a better one is
Correctly. If you gather all the strong guilds in one group and force them to play with each other endlessly, then the players will soon burn out and run away from this hell. Among other things, the workload should be reviewed. But that's another story...

It is obvious that this has ceased to be a strategy game to become an irrational succession of automatic trial of buttons.
It is the exact moment of leaving this and looking for a game that stimulates our intelligence. It is a real pity to see that something that began being brilliant has reached its decay.

Forge of Empires lost it's "strategy" part long ago, it's not crystal clear now it became a clicker/tapper game?
And 34 fights were done at zero atrition, higher the atrition slower the fights even for top tier players, not me, I am nothing compared to others with thousands attack boost, fighting all day long to be higher in ranking.

And yes, I agree with the last phrase of Yours, it's reching it's decay and maybe it's the time to leave it, but for the moment I can't.

Already by dividing by two the gains and losses of LP on the guild leaderboard within each CBG, I think that we would slow down the yoyo effect enormously while preventing the first of a Platinum league to find itself immediately in league 1.000 LP!
This simple readjustment is not difficult to set up or test.

There's a 4 hour cooldown between taking sectors that acts as a limiting barrier atm. They'd be able to do at least 20 times more fights without the 4 hour lockout. And for less goods because they could do the "poor person" version of swaps where you just setup siege camps on opposite sides of a sector noone builds in and pop it back and forth as fast as they could - with no lockout and 2 very active guilds that'd suffice - just flip the same sector every minute or two until noone wants to fight anymore ;)

It's crazy, the castle which is appreciated took 3 months to arrive on the direct servers but when you lay a dung, we are all entitled to it as soon as possible, before even being able to test thoroughly.
You forget the masterpiece of Mughal empire. The settlement isn't the problem, we players are the problem that we can't figure it out and don't understand what's fun. Also the "heal all" button debate continues with an intensifying silence. Though including the fix for that would've made perfect sense in those GbG reskin update and massive SC buff.
Still the balance in GbG is lacking behind the exploits and lacking general balance. Let's make it easy:
Different sectors in the same ring delivers variable amounts of VP (some guilds can get easily 10s of VP more out of the same adjacent tiles of the same ring in front of their HQ)

SC, I dunno why it's so hard to understand that SC is massively OP as some guilds can't using them (no slots in adjacent HQ sectors, unfavourable required resources). Thus attrition just hits some hard while it doesn't hit some not even in the slightest

Solutions:
1.) Standardised VP production/sector depending on GbG "rings"
2.) Capping SC to 50% (does not stack beyond 50% chance) in exchange applying the same rule as an nerf to traps and decoys

That is oh so right and is what we give from feedback since months but nobody listen , developers know it better even if they never played foe.

So far we proposed two good solutions (in my eyes ;) )

1) put only 1 slot in every sector so pointfarmers can't do fights without attrition all day long and other buildings then siege camps finaly have a meaning in tactics
2) start every HQ with 2 free slots so every guild can always strike back for a few sectors even if when usual two big guilds control the whole map.

Juber maybe transmit the feedback but i have the feeling our feedback goes right in the bin.

Going off this sentiment (which I don't entirely disagree with), one option would be that once a year or so, they simply go and divide everyone's LP by 2 and go back to a state similar to the first GBGs. Where top guilds have room to rise again fastest. And it'd take some time before "everyone's diamond again!". It'd be about 3-4 seasons for the actual top guild to get back to diamond-1000. There might be a tough round here and there for the little guilds still, but the top guilds would continue to rise away for some time, and it'd be a bit til the smaller guilds caught back up after one bad round.
A crude solution, but it would be a lot better than what we have now.

I think we have suggested plenty of worthy solutions. I am tired of beating my head against Inno's wall of silence. I will join the vast numbers of other players who have accepted that Inno has heard us and refuses to fix the problem. : (

I must say that I play while I'm working. I have a job that stresses me and I come to the game to relax myself. I am not in a position of losing my time trying to occupy positions at virtuality, because my "real" life has many demands. So I play the game and if I am lucky I raise positions and get rewards, but nothing happens to me if I lose. It's a game, it is not the real life.
Beyond all this, I feel that the game has lost its magic.

This is an updated on how the battleground that I’m in right now.
We have one large guild and 7 small guilds. The 7 small guilds are not participating in this battleground so they can go down a league and play where they are more evenly matched.
This has the large guild taking over the map.
With 9 days left in this battleground there are only 20 spaces not occupied by them soon there will be nothing left for them to capture. So this 80 member guild will have nothing to do but to wait for the next battleground.

Yes, I did it, but it seems like there is an issue with it and the rewarded diamonds got removed again after the first login. I will report it to the devs and may be able to reward them to you on Monday. Sorry about that.

You guys at Inno are design specialists, can't you change the flags to really showing what's going on in a sector?
If a sector has 4 or 5 guild advances, I would like to see these advances in the colours of the flag and not just the colour of the one in front.
