Well, some of the questions here are rather amusing.. Like "how many idols is there in total and how many is on game panel (assuming that means "the screen")"...
Those questions certainly cannot be answered. The position of idols IS RANDOM as is the number of them on any given screen. Especially because any given screen has random layout (depends how many columns you move to the right, even if everyone had the same labyrint, each player will have different any given screen).
As for the total number of idols, that number is UNLIMITED and cannot be stated. The length of the labyrint is unlimited and if you want to spend hundreds of dollars, you can obtain literally unlimited number of WFs of any level, because you can keep going and going and going.
At the beginning of the event I had doubts whether max lvl is attainable for free, realizing the sheer number of idols needed, but I believe that using proper tactics everyone can have it even with the randomness of the idols' position.
So if you didn't get max lvl on beta, don't give up on live, try changing the tactics. Ignore the vases completely (some will get open anyway by shovels and dynamite) and try to "shine light" on as many shadowed sand squares as possible with as few tools as possible. and do NOT try to uncover all of them, that is not worth it. Buy ONLY 330 scrolls packages and ONLY extra brushes... the price for smaller package and for single shovels and dynamite is again not worth it. Don't try to play it every day. Just collect the scrolls. play it only when daily special is worth the effort (like the carousel) and by pure statistics, some of those randomly ('accidentally") opened vases will give you that price regardless.
Imagine column of empty sands with one having a vase in it. Behind the square with vase is sand (shadowed) and behind the empty sand above the vase is empty square. proper tactics is NOT to uncover the vase, ignore it. Use brush on the empty sand in front of empty square. That will move you one step FURTHER than uncovering the vase and will show the content of the sand behind the vase. There you can decide what's next... and so on...
Hope it helped someone.
