Vikings Arriving in FoE?

Short guess:

VF is the last age in "part one" of Foe.
Vikings are the first we get of "part two"
(Thats my guess)

If the above is right then i hope special goods from part one is usable in part two, so playing part one still has a purpose other than keeping up with GvG maps and GB.
And part two could come with it´s own GvG map and separate GB (or wonders).

Edit: Actually reading through the thread more I think the GvG guesses are more on point. They have been hinting to large GvG changes for awhile now, this would certainly be massive. On that note I would guess a guild viking outpost not owned or manned by a single player but the whole guild which then interacts with other guild's outposts. In any event it's quite interesting.

Yes, more food for thought :).
It could be a big change in GvG. With the Viking ship, could it be that the fights will be done from ships, like naval battles ? As suggested by Manda the First the ships would be build and outfitted with soldiers from a city common to the guild.
The diplomacy "bit" would be to settle peacefully borders.

This would be very big indeed !

Und dann kommt Yul Brynner und zerschießt alles. ;-) ( Filmversion)

Google Translation:
"And if we assume that it will be for players who have reached the end of VF, could it be a gateway to a theme park a little bit the Westworld series?"

"And then Yul Brynner comes and shoots everything."

I can, without question, reply to this as follows: No Comment :D
Well played :D

represents this new era
Vikings where not arround Iron Age :p they appeared arround EMA, after the fall
of the Romain empire. So far I know and did learn history.
Anyways back to the Q&A: yeah sure so far we know is it about the era: No Age
"era": "NoAge",
"abilities": {
"outpostResource": {
"content": "vikings",
"type": "outpostResource",
The same era as from event buildings.:D

Cultural Settlements

Receive Unique Rewards

Build the town of a foreign culture and finish their questline to receive unique and powerful rewards.

Establish a Relationship

To develop the outpost, produce unique Cultural Goods and improve your relationship with the selected culture by building diplomacy buildings.

Repeat Your Success

Once the questline is finished, the Outpost becomes self-sustainable. You can then select a culture again to do another playthrough! Hint: A Settlement is gone once you finished it.

Where does the gvg fit into this description?It sound more like a combo of GE but with quests and rewards like during events. So which guild has the most guild mates finish this questline gets the most points? Wonder if it will also be limited to once a week, or as many as you want as fast as you can, but that's doubtful, they'll run out of rewards faster than we run out of curiosity, at least the first few weeks :))
