Feedback Summer Event 2017

I am extremely disappointed in this event. Summer event last year was great, this year it seems like a huge $$$ sink with little to gain. The prizes are harder to get, and you're going to have a lot of assholes continuously refreshing. I just can't see how developers and players are thinking this is okay. Innogames is making these prizes harder and harder to come by even if you throw $100 plus at the game buying tickets. This needs to be fixed in a big way. Innogames- please do not let your greed get the better of you, it will be your downfall. Experienced players are already leaving this game and new players will be discouraged. I am so tired of looking forward to an event only to be majorly disappointed. Spring 2017 was fun, Fall and summer last year were very nice, but Winter 2016, Venice carnival, and now Summer 2017 are very bad.

Difficult to make the event worthwhile.
The Spring event was a challenge, there are many incomplete Japanese gardens in production. That said, it was fun racing against neighbors as the jackpots grew and I managed to complete my garden set.

The Summer event's two different 5-piece sets will make it more difficult and unless I'm missing something, the daily payout is much less. Combined with the size of the two sets and what seems to be fewer opportunities for tickets than lanterns, I am not inclined to put much effort into completing them.

Just noticed the dirty trick going by...
So gold prize only 1 item per wheel, silver prize 2 items per wheel , green 4 piece a wheel.
No ticket from wildness, no ticket from ch.
Its obvious by now that they do not learn.

since last summer every event has taken a turn for the worst and more and more I'm finding it less interesting to log in ... great job inno you are ruining a game that was fun once.....

This event is a bust. I don't want more multiple set buildings, I have a couple of incomplete ones already and they mostly just take up space. I haven't seen any of the things I want - SOKs, rogue hideouts, WWs, military buildings. I look at the wheel several times a day and see nothing that I want. So at this point more tickets isn't the issue. And folks keep saying you can spend diamonds on this. I don't think even diamonds would get me the things I want. Folks talk about how great the events used to be and how much good stuff you could get. I guess those days are gone.

Got advice for must do (unhappy) Event players : Ignore!!
You can still tell them (Inno) what you think about it!!
However they are known to not care and not reading the forums!!
Rumor has it that Moderators are in short supply! Seem they're
bit tired of the way management running this game and some
of the others! They should run a new advertisement:
WANTED NEW MANAGEMENT!!...:p

The gold, silver mechanic limiting prize count really destroyed what was the best event of the year. I was so disappointed with the Easter event changes, but they were nothing compared to this. My favorite event is a total wreck. Is anyone having fun yet?????? Because 1 ticket a day is not worth doing a quest. And if you give me a scout of province quest for 1 ticket, I won't play this event on any live server. Most people like the Summer event the best, but if this is what you gtive us on the live servers, I think you are going to lose a lot of players. It isn't challenging, it's frustrating. It isn't fun, it's maddening and boring at the same time. Have you never heard the saying, "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT"???????????

i think it should be 1 hour as most players don't have so many supplies buildings , it will take to much time from ppl to try to finish this quest. Especially the smaller players
I also think instead say in production it should say " in Supplies building". The new players to the game get bit confused between production for supplies and production for goods.

I was also frustrated by the Spring event, but at least heavy diamond players could get the complete set - all set pieces were available as grand prizes for cherry blossoms.
But now in Summer Event, there's absolutely no guarantee to win anything. It's true the casino mechanics has always been the same - there was no guarantee before either, but previous years we had more tickets and each prize had 4 copies of it. So even if a neighbor could steal 1 or 2, we still had our chances...
So yes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".....Inno double nerfed it instead...:mad:

I'm guessing they will simply add the Elephant 4x4 building to the diamond sale (or SoK, rogue hideout, who knows) and say they listened to our feedback..

On a side note, if a second Elephant fountain gate is placed on the other side of the set, it gives 1 additional FP for 1x3 space - better than SoK :)

@ZENA "Supply building" wouldn't be accurate either, as productions from bazaars, TFs, MSBs, etc. also count as production buildings. And yes, it's inconvenient but can always build blacksmiths :)

yes i do agree but do take note All NEW PLAYERS DO not have those event buildings.
and also u said thy can build blacksmiths. but again why must the player change thy strategy to accommodate the quest its the same as u been frustrate with this event

@ZENA Well it's inconvenient for end game players too, i have no supply buildings in my main city, so will also have to delete something in order to build blacksmiths. Don't get me wrong, the production quests are my least favorite ones, but then again I think we should put some effort and temporarily reorganize city if we want to complete questline. It wouldn't be interesting if all quests autocompleted, would it? ;)

I had absolutely no problem getting the full Zen Garden set in the Spring Event, neither here or on all 4 of the live servers I play. Sure, I spent diamonds here, but only as a result of poor planning and/or understanding of when to use my Lanterns. On live servers I deliberately bought and used diamonds on my main to obtain 2 sets, which I did.
Here in this years Summer Event I have spent 2100 Diamonds. That´s 25 extra Tickets, and I have everything for the full 2 sets. I only need Maharaja´s Palace, which I´ll get upon finishing the second questline. I have 6 Tickets with 12 quests remaining for at least 13 Tickets taking my total to 19. Only 6 short of the number of Tickets bought with Diamonds. And I defenitely have mis-used quite a number of Tickets already, as I have 3 Titan Arum Plants on stock (set already built), and 5 Eastern Palace Tower (1 obtained through quest).
I might be one lucky SoB, but it seems to me, that getting these sets is no way near impossible.

To the issue of mechanichs of the wheel. Though it might seem as bit of a nerf, and the following isn´t seen on all wheels, having 2 of the same set piece in Silver ring is actually mathematically an improvement.

Here´s 4 chances of getting the Maharaja´s Jungle Pond on 27 possible prizes. Last year that would have been 4 in 36 possible prizes.

Finally, I love seeing that the scouting province haven´t got an alternative. As mentioned elsewhere, I don´t mind an alternative in the shorter historical questlines, but keep the non-alternative policy in these lenghty events.

No HOFs? No SoKs? No wishing wells? The prizes for this Event are TERRIBLE! And, why so chintzy with the tickets this year? BIG FAIL INNO!

I´ve seen SoK´s and WW´s.
And if you ask nicely, I´m sure IG will gladly bring us back to times, when there was small Supply and Coin packages on 5 of 9 prizes on the wheel.

Way less tickets from the quests than in the last years ... but still the same amount of useless prizes on each wheel :-(( Not so much fun this year :-( First time I won't be spending diamonds on the summer event.

I've been checking the wheel multiple times per day for the last week, but I have not even seen the elephant pool or good prizes like sok/hideout. There's always 2 of the smaller buildings from the set, why not the big building?? My hood is fairly active. Even if I had the tickets, how am I supposed to complete the set if it never shows up? I'd be willing to pay more tickets to straight up buy the building like in the valentines event.

I'm still miffed about the gold set. Why is it not one per account per wheel, rather than one per wheel? That way you are still limited in how many you can get, but at least more people can get the prize.

A suggestion for the devs.
Currently the Maharaja's Palace (which is the Taj Mahal btw) is offered as a reward for completing questline 2, excellent. However, most frequent spinners will win one or multiple copies of the eastern and western palace tower offered as reward for completing questline 1. What i suggest is that can't the E and W palace tower be be replaced with the elephant fountain as the final reward for completing questline 1?
