The announcement says "If, for example, you win one of a specific prize where four are available, it is removed from the wheel and only three of them will remain for your neighbors to win." I got a supplies package twice on the same wheel and some other junk. I had 10 tickets and refreshed the wheel with one and got a face I'll never use. Then with 8 other prizes that I should only have been able to win once, I got more junk and then a caranversary on ticket #10. The 'special' prizes were still left, so there is no way the junk prizes with 4 available are removed for the person who won them. While I'm here, I have to stay that it is getting so hard to win anything good - in what used to be most people's favorite event - that I won't be looking forward to it now. Summer event should be easier and light summer fun, not another event for diamond players to win the good prizes. The tickets are too expensive and these sets of buildings are maddening prizes when there is little chance of getting the whole set. I didn't get the whole set on live servers for the last two events, either. But I saw a player with 11 sets of the Sakura stuff who told me she bought the lanterns with diamonds. Lucky rich lady.

You have completely ruined my favorite event. No tickets at signon or in the wilderness and only 1 ticket per day when you get to the daily quests???? Then you get to spin a wheel with what chances for a good prize? No one will want to refresh with just one ticket and when the goods prizes are gone, it will be idle. I don't EVER want supplies, coins, 5 FPs, or any deco I can buy any day of the week as prizes. They're not prizes, they're irritants. One ticket a day means no one wants to spin until the only thing left is the one they want. A fresh wheel has...let me think..1 gold, 2 silver, and 28 green prizes. So there is 1 chance in 31 of getting what you need to finish a set. Why even other, when all we'll end up with is a couple of pieces. With those odds, 2 new sets of buildings are a huge overkill. It will be nearly impossible to get all 10 pieces. The Maharajah set would have been enough already. If you don't double or triple the tickets, the only things I will try for in the live world are the standalone buildings from other events - Caravansary, SoK, maybe a wishing well. I do buy diamonds on the live servers, but I won't use them for this.

Since you now have 2 event lines behind eachother, you now get double amount of tickets from the event.
Much more fun than after a week just collecting one per day from the townhall

I disagree with your opinion. There should be a method for players who do not want to solve the questline to continue to receive ticket. Even if only one per day. The former system ensured this was possible.
In the current mechanism, to progress in the wheel and receive more tickets you HAVE to solve the quests.
PS: Tickets were never available from the townhall I believe.

There were a lot of alternative quests, but no alternative for "conquer a province". Wont be completing the first questline on live.

regarding the difficulty of getting all the pieces for the special buildings....
how about letting people trade them in like you can for blueprints? i have 4 spare western towers, but need 1 of the other 2x2 pieces. it would be good if i could trade 2 3 or 4 of them in for the piece i need

Slight issue with the wheel (or maybe not, I don't know):
I have a cooperage on the wheel (standard production building, not premium or anything) and it's got a silver collar rather than green.
Like I say, don't know if that's deliberate; one less set/premium/special item on the wheel, but less chaff to get through... beats me whether that's net win or loss. I won't be spinning that wheel though, I do know that...

I agree w/ other players, the amount of tickets is very low.
I also miss the military & premium bldgs. of the past summer events.
Most of the prizes offered do NOTHING for the advanced players (1 million +) making it hardly worth the time & effort.
I quite enjoyed getting a head start on a new age w/ items won on the wheel, sadly that is NOT the case this time.
Very disappointed.

In the introduction it says the Chhatri Garden and the Elephant Fountain Gate are 3x1 buildings, but they are actually 1x3 buildings.

So far I am disappointed with this iteration of the event. The military buildings should be brought back for one. Regarding the wheel, either give us back the four slots on each prize for the wheel or make the wheel exclusive to the individual like the card from the winter event.
As it stands, the diamonds I saved for getting more SOKs on live are going elsewhere. Based on what I've relayed to others and gotten feedback from them, I am not the only one who will refuse to splurge on this event.

There is a bug with today's Quest 5 of the Bonus quests or the quest wording needs rewriting! One component is "Activate 1 Boost in the Tavern". I completed this portion of the quest by placing the Elephant Fountain and some of the other same-Set pieces into my city thereby activating the city Coin/Supply/Defence boost given by the Elephant Fountain. I assume this was an unintentional completion otherwise the quest text needs to read "Activate 1 Boost in your City/TownHall".

To nerf this event a bit, ok understandable. Players will obviously be unhappy about it but from my own experience I know that even as a casual player I managed to get 6 SoK last summer event, so there is clearly some balancing issue.
However, I believe they now heavily overdid it in the other way, so my suggestions would be (not sure if developers read this at all):
(a) Military buildings need to be back in and green (as no premium), many players (myself included) waited extra for the summer event to move up one age and Inno if you want to make players really unhappy then mess around with strategies which people prepare for months
(b) All buildings which are not premium (so which can be bought normally without diamonds) should be green, no reason to make them special
(c) Premium buildings of the same age (house, production etc) should be there and fair price would be silver (as they are not in the same league as SoK etc)
(d) Event buildings should be also all silver to give all players at least a kind of a chance to catch all of them (some for green would be even better but you wont go for that anyways )
Then you would leave the gold for the really rare objects similarly to the rare ones in the expedition and it would be annyoing for us players but still kinda fair. Maybe you could also consider to put one more silver on the wheel (so 4 green, 3 silver 2 gold).

A few things ...
1. The size of the sets - don't have the room for them, especially since they must go in set positions. Parts of the set are nice, but most of them I don't want, especially the happiness buildings.
2. Prizes - most of them are unattractive - I'm looking for items like bazaars, soks, renovation kits, one up kits, wishing wells - way too many trash prizes.
3. Gold and silver ring system - have just wrecked what was once a good event.
4. Disinterest in the casino - with the changes I've noticed far fewer spins than last year - this won't change when it goes live.
Could inno just junk all the changes to the summer casino? I mean, judging by the comments on this thread and the discussion going on among players on live servers, the revamped casino is universally reviled.
I'm noticing a trend - this year's Easter event was much worse than the one the year before.
I'm sure there are some heavy-diamond players (those who will spend money on diamonds no matter what) who will purchase diamonds to participate in event - but by and large, your new model won't attract as many participants.
Could you at least explain your reasoning for changing the event despite its widespread unpopularity?
