That was a "refresh and spin" that gave you that avatar, right? You didn't own that avatar before you spun, but the game knows what it's going to give you as soon as you spin, and in the case of an avatar it greys it out right away because it regards it as "already owned". In other words you won the avatar on that spin but the game greyed it out too early. In still other words it's "just a display problem" but a really confusing one.

That is correct, and the same thing will happen with coins/supplies/medals (you will see that you gained it once you click on refresh, so when it actually lands on it, it looks like you gained nothing)
Sorry, I thought I replied directly under someone who stated that diamonds were not on the wheel like last year.

It was the same last year as well
(not the bug part, but the predetermined prize thing. I remember rants on the EN forum about the wheel being rigged and whatnot)

As compared to the last year:
No premium cultural?
No 50 diamond prize?
No 200 diamond prize?
No WISHING WELL?!
No 10 FPs?
Make it even lower probability, but these are prizes that are worth a go.
Why not:
Rogue hideout?
Shrine?
HOF?
Renovation kit?
Make it so its 1/3 possibility of normal prize or something, but if not there is no real big prizes in this event.
The Easter event and the Soccer event were downgrade from Summer 2013. However, the real prizes were present on these events even with low probability. However, in these event we do not have real prizes.

As noted in another thread, a lot of the prizes you've listed are on offer, if you wait:
Premium cultural, wishing wells, shrines, rogue hideouts - I think I've seen renovation kits once or twice as well. And everyone who completes all the quests gets diamonds.

Yes, I guess my luck was bad. I turned the wheel 20 times initial and got none of those, but now I have seen them. the probability of them is quite low.

I hate the little .......s who refresh the board because they have one spin when other are trying to get the prize they want on the current board
if someone else wins it that is ok
but if someone needs to refresh the board for his one spin than that guy does that only to annoy the other players

Sorry if not exactly on topic, but I wanted to insert and his word!!! Is that fair when the wheel falls on 5 lots of gold or resources??? I agree if they are to appear more frequently than other more valuable prizes, but not half as lots at the wheel??? Not only that with every update, so also in such numbers...
Why not add as prizes such as strategic points, confectionery, halls of fame???

Can you ask the devs to let us have some bonus quests, if the event is really going to last 19 more days? The announcement on en said it's going to include bonus quests for people who get the quests done too quickly, so we should get them too. To test them!

As usual, the bonus quests are time triggered and cannot be activated earlier. Please note that the event is only lasting on Beta this long and that the time is much shorter on live.

Thanks, but I don't understand: I'm not asking for anything to be "activated earlier" - I've done the questline here on beta. I was one of the people who felt it was too short for the time granted, and now we have 19 more days. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be happy to test the bonus quests for you, and wouldn't say no to a few more tickets since we'll have the event on our screens for so long!

The bonus quest is a well tested "standard quest"
--collect prudction 24 hours ..4 times...
there is no-need to re-test in beta world
that Bonus quest is only giving advantage to those who really can speed up the quest...(how....hmmmmm...feel it ) in game world
