Army bonus, each type of good goods (10 choices every encounter)

65. 83%, 10
66. 91%, 16
67. 99%, 20
68. 108%, 40
69. 117%, 20

This is completely insane. I don't think anyone can even build up this much defence needed to beat those armies. Like @CrashBoom said, even if those were Attack bonuses, not everyone could

Amazing how Inno knows their own game and listens to the players. For years players have been saying that city defense is totally useless. No way you can win those fights from neighbours that attack you, so why bother with defence? Then along comes Inno wth a new level for GE and what is used for your attack strength? The city defence we all have been deleting. Makes total ense.

No way you can win those fights from neighbours that attack you, so why bother with defence? Then along comes Inno wth a new level for GE and what is used for your attack strength? The city defence we all have been deleting. Makes total ense.
Instead of GE 5, They could have made initial dialog on GE level1 itself to start the entire guild expedition to go with either attack or defend boost as a one time selection. GE1-4 with completely defense boost and all those same buildings and rewards concepts to apply will be more interesting. It could have been more pleasant and whoever wants to try defend they could have tried. Now, it is pure drama and one more GE level left unused by many. Only the top players who has more resources and city defense will try hard, but rest of the people to reach high defense boost going to take minimum 4 or 5 years to play GE5 and better not use till reaching the good defense boost.

I was hoping 5th level will be made purely as a bonus level and not count towards GE victory. Defense stat being involved will make players who are still new to the game have a tough time with it which will make them unable to join higher level guilds that will require completion of GE when going for the first place. Should have been thought trough much better.

it is since if you'll choice the negoziation's way here's the cost weekly:
around 1k each good of actual and previous age,included to build "difensive construction" that reduce the price of negoziation
around 300 diamonds if you haven't done the negoziation in 4 turns

Another thought:
the costs for the negotiation cost reduction seem quite high... they would only make sense if you would consider doing two attempts or more for that encounter - most players likely will chose to pay diamonds though for extra tries if they fail negotiating till the fourth try...

Interesting, mostly everyone will pick attack boost only. That's the problem. Currently, GE5 some players will not pick, but with your suggestion, completely defend option will be unused by many. I can say if it is initially implemented means it could have been good choice. People have city building concept itself revamped and it could have been very useful. Now GBG is purely attack boost and GE only level 5 defense boost, so going 1-4 for GE with defense boost is not going to interest the top players but non-top players may get much interest. It is a good point and at the same time bad point too :)

Sadly the forced part may have been true had they not added it to the championship. Ah well maybe everyone will just drop the importance of championships)

is it possible to do the level 5 - with nearly ZERO city defense but with 4000% attack / 2500 deff for the attacking army?
