I've been using 2 drones and rouges, but I can't finish the last 3 battles. I've built the attack building but didn't try the pots.

For 77th and 78th, I think I use 1 ranged, 3 rogues and 4 arti units. Obviously the ranged units is supposed to take out the fast unit (there is only 1 in both encounters), beside that, it's somewhat about luck, what the enemy is targeting (rogues or arti units), how much AO/KE triggers.
For now I neg the 79th encounter.
For 80th, I use 6 arti + 2 rogues I think. 1 rogue for each ranged unit in the opposing army.

...but 2 drones with 6 rogues is quite unusual but by this city defence it seems to be possible

thanks to 20 Monsterwares Terror Boutiques from Halloween Event
plenty Jester Stages and other new event buildings with defense boost
I now have 1615% / 1871% defending stats
the most difficult encounter 79: made it with 8 flying units manually fighting
2 died in first wave, 3 more in second wave
