Right. Solutions won't ever hit a perfect bullseye, and it seems that Inno is trying to help, but maybe doesn't want to engineer it to the detail either required OR requested.
Same issues with stacked warriors. Also a good try (meaning they listened to the
TOP LEVEL request to stack warriors), but did it quick and dirty, and then go silent (which means: we gave you a switch to NOT use it, do that if you don't like it).
I don't think we are making bad suggestions to make FoE more usable and game functional.
Inventory filtering is the way to go, yes. That lets us search / sort / rank / discover what in our inventory, correctly.
We've got
hundreds of items in inventory... pages and pages of them and more pages each day as fragments grow and grow. And frankly, here's more pain related to items, fragments and a decent naming convention for things:
Everyone can do this...
SEARCH in your inventory (full view) for: RITUAL FLAME.
You might get this or something similar:

Pretty good, right?
WRONG!!
Oh silly me. Nope.... guess what? There are more!!
, but guess again.... They're called by a
DIFFERENT NAME - it's NOT:
1) Ritual Flame Selection Kit
2) GE Ritual Flame Selection Kit
3) Guild Expedition Ritual Flame Selection Kit
4) Guild Expedition Ritual Flame Selection Kit Fragment
5) Fragment of Guild Expedition Ritual Flame Selection Kit
6) Fragment of Guild Expedition Level 2 Ritual Flame Selection Kit
No - none of these LOGICAL names:
Here's what they're called (CRAAAAZY LONG illogical):
FRAGMENT of Guild EXPEDITION Level 2 Selection Kit
Guild EXPEDITION Level 2 Selection Kit
See the word "RITUAL FLAME" in there anywhere? UGH.
So....You have to remember to search for : LEVEL 2 (not RITUAL FLAME)

That SELECTION kit has 2 RITUAL FLAME ITEMS/tools in it,
but if you didn't know that, you can't get them by theIr logical name:
RITUAL FLAME
DO we really care that it's a LEVEL 2 GE SELECTION KIT?
We care what's IN IT!! --> Ritual Flame "stuff"
They should ALL come up when you search for RITUAL FLAME. Now? That doesn't happen.
How does that help new players when this is confusing for veteran players?
This is going to keep getting worse....and the naming conventions and truncations aren't helping AT ALL.
