Feedback Archaeology Event

I opened more than 50 vases and I received zero carousel :mad::confused:

Same here, more or less. Spent all my scrolls on tools, used all the tools and opened a TON of chests. Zero carousels. Inno sets the odds that makes this possible so I think I'll give the event a pass when it hits my 9 live cities. Inno should have called the game "Casino of Empires" since they are so intent on forcing us to gamble (and lose).

Since the chance is not 100%, it is possible to open one million vases and receive the daily prize 0 times. With a million vases, the chance of not getting the daily prize even once is very, very small - but still possible.

You have simply been unlucky. That is unfortunate, but Inno canot be blamed for luck. Just for introducing an element of luck. If you want to play games where chance is never a factor, I guess it is wiser to stay away from the events altogether.

@Zarok Dai Why in modern era I had 4 sectors to negotiate while other players in the ocean future had only one sector to do for 45's and 25's quest?

@Umbrathor Where did you see that I was complaining?
You can ask some players who are on this forum, I take up things but I do not complain! :)
I am always on the side of the devloppers (except serious cases) and I know the probabilities, thank you :p:p:D:D

This Morning, after the balancing change, i have received 1 carousel :):):)

Regardless of era, the number of sectors available to conquer or negotiate depends on each player individual progress on the Continent Map. A player may have one province open (scouted) will all or just 1 sector available, while others may have more than one province open, and each with a different number of sectors available.

Just because I normally do not complain... So here goes :D

Seriously?!? Number 15 "20 Four Hour Productions"... and all you get are 30 Scrolls?!?

PS. Please note sarcasm. It was originally 12 and you raised it to 20? Good thing I have a few Blacksmiths... Geesh!

Do you know meanwhile whether the stuff we can find are placed randomly or whether these places are the same for everyone.
If it is random it may happen of course that someone finds more golden bears than another one which would mean: One player reaches Level 10 easily at the end and another one ends up with level 8 - using the same strategy.

@Darrth Eugene Vader But the quest for the vent should be the same for everyone, right? why should small players make more sectors than big players?

As I said: Inno sets the odds and they most definitely CAN be blamed for luck. When Inno sets the chance for winning a specific item at, for example, 5%. they are saying that 95% of the time, they want us to lose. I'll give Inno credit for stating the odds as I've played other games where the game companies keep it a deep, dark secret. Of course, their big hope is that some percentage of those who "have simply been unlucky" will turn around and spend diamonds to keep on gambling. There are a number of things in game that I am prepared to spend money on but gambling is not and never will be one of them.

I'm done with quest 46, and my WF is level 6, I fear I won't success getting to level 10 with only 14 quests left.
My WF is 6 too, done up to quest 45 and I am halfway to the next upgrade (11 out of 20 status) with 40 brushes left, 21 spades and 19 dynamite. So I could be much further ahead in statues and upgrades. So Freya I am surprised that you are not ahead of me. Did you use scrolls to buy more equipment? And if so, did you make sure to only buy the most expensive and most cost-efficient package for 330 scrolls? Do you still have equipment left? If not, how efficiently are yoiu using the equipment? Do you clear every vase as well, or go for statues primarily?

So you would blame a dice maker because you couldn't roll a 1 on their dice? Interesting, just saying :D

No, don't be ridiculous. I WOULD blame the dice game operator (that would be Inno). As I said - and you quoted - Inno sets the odds. Is there anything about that statement you are disagreeing with?

Your "should have said" makes no difference. Using my example above, a 5% chance of winning means you can be expected to lose 95% of the time (which is what Inno wants). or that 95 players out of 100 will lose. That doesn't deny the existence of the 5% or the fact that they "beat the odds" which Inno set. You might as well argue that we should all be pumping our savings into lottery tickets. After all, lots of people have won lottery jackpots and at far worse odds than 5%.

Yes I did buy some single tools at the start and it took me a little time to learn to to use them effective.
I will do better on live, but most there will also waste some tool learning how it works.
Even when I should not get a level 10 WF here, it's still a very nice building

8 days into the event and if you are using the mobile app you do not have access to this event. From reading it seems some have completed or nearly completed their event buildings. Does not seem to be any major bugs. So why has this not been released to beta mobile players? How long until it is?

The mobile release is usually later on, this is always the case I think. In the annoucement for this event it said 'several days'. Please remember this is a beta, a testig area only, the idea is not necessarily that every tester gets to finish the event completely.
