Quest too complicated impossible to finish Rival, another diamond trap...

"collect 4 red chests with stars" tried with 3 tickets and collected 1 chest. Used a golden ticket as a last resort and got 2 boards that contained ZERO reds.. total rip-off

do you lose the items you win if you move to the next quest without using the item? I did the first quest and gained a hammer didnt use it so when the 3rd quest popped up to use a hammer I went to use it and it was gone had to use coins to buy a boost pack

Well, I wasn't gonna play today bcs my alt DS is insect hotel, have plenty of them. So, to do Rivals, we are stuck with the DS's we have now and the next 4 coming (given and and/or alt). Reminds me of Winter event, play calendar you forfeit DS. Anthills here I come

Task #5 might keep me stuck for a while. I keep jumping from having a 3 Star chest to being in position for a 5 Star chest xD

That quest should be not "=" but ">=".

Thank you Ember. So far (Quest 17) you need to start at least 6 Tickets and win 2. So if the event started (like with me) when you had 0 tickets, you need at least 4 new ones until Quest 17. That's 24/32 hours. And that's if you manage to finish the quests in between without any more tickets which I don't think is possible.
How is it supposed to be possible to finish this challenge in 48 hours if you don't have any rush quests left?

Particularly given Quest #19 is "use lightning booster" and then Quest #20 is "Pop 50 Yellow tiles"... better not Lightning all your Yellow Tiles out on the previous Quest

I did the 25 blue (Q4) and had 2-4 star red (Q5) but had to spend 65 coin for extra moves. I forgot to collect quest 4, did the extra moves and 2 4-star red for nothing..... at me My mistake of course, need to take it one step at a time. Here is how I will play it. I have a ticket coming in an hour. Reset is in 12 hours. I am going to wait for the new DS to get more tickets. I used my tickets, none in the quest queue so I will have to buy tickets. I figure wait for the next DS, dabble in it hopefully I get until Q9 when I have to use 2 entrance tickets. I usually spend diamonds in WL event but that was with 65 coin and 10 moves, wasn't sure if I wanted to deal with the 65 coin for 5 moves, just frustrates me every time I see it.

I just finished Q8 after spending 4 tickets from diamonds and I won't spend any more. I will play and look which quest are fulfilled automatically. The quest line would be okay if in net total I'd gain as many rewards as are required to spend. But not this way.

And while you're at it, can you make sure that if you have a quest "Collect x blue" that your board contains blue if it isn't completed?
