Duplicate: Unable to build in designated area

In attempting to build 3 clockmakers, completed buildings are shown immediately. No deduction of coins/supplies and the buildings disappear after refreshing.

So just to confirm, what you are reporting is that the 3 clock makers completed construction immediately? Was this on the app or browser? Can you provide your browser and system information please? Any details may be helpful.
This sounds like a lag or timing out issue, had the game been sitting idle for any length of time?
