3 more days until the New Years! You guys have been troopers patiently waiting all these months for Inno to collect enough data to make the best decision for everyone and I want to take this time to sincerely thank you all for that!
I wouldn't be so naive, most likely Inno will announce to us that they are abandoning the idea of nerf#1 and will launch a new nerf#2, which will become even worse, and it will be tested until the next 2024 (collect new data)... lol

The name Guild battle grounds will be changed. As it's noticed that the name has become inaccurate. As learned from the feedback. This is why Guild battle Grounds will be renamed to: Guild battle Farms. To make it less confusing for weaker guilds and new players.
Also the improvement has been dropped. In favour of a better solution, that will be introduced and tested later in the year.


February's 1st GbF season:
Introduction of Forge creditcard. You can charge this with real cash, the credit is shared by all you're accounts worlds. It can be used to purchases more easily FoE+, event passes, 1 month add free package but most importantly instant complete GbF buildings for €0,50.
This will start with AB live test, cause at the Beta the feature can't be properly tested.

February's 2nd GbF season
The option to purchase instant GbF buildings is preferred by players, according to the AB test. So, the Forge creditcard is now available for everyone. Also, GbF buildings instant completion will cost €0,50 instead of diamonds. Like the Halloween AB cash event pass test, only 1 test round is needed.

All of the above is just pure sarcasm but wouldn't be surprised to see this would be introduced, instead of this improvement. All sarcasm aside, this improvement is clearly doing what it has intended to do. It doesn't take a genius to understand this. Judging from the echochamber this topic has become.
Better solutions could've been done, more subtle, like limiting the maximum number of GbF buildings and thus the maximum support. Besides of each SC giving an individual X% chance to not increase attrition. This would easily making it impossible to fight infinitely. I wouldn't be much surprised either if Inno has listed all suggested solutions and tested them on the Alfa server and decided to roll with this solution. Which seems to work as intended, seeing how this discussion has gone.

Juber mentioned that a decision wont be made until after New Years so in theory we can have a resolution as early as the day after new years is all i'm saying but they could very well decided they meant new years 2023 and let beta test this nerf for another 12 months to get really really good data!

Juber did not mention that the current testing will end on January 1. Moving on:)

You if this comes to live server i want to put traps in front of every small guild, just so they will not disturb in fight with others

The ultimate solution are private GbF seasons. Just for 2-3 allied guilds. So, those annoying smaller guilds don’t disrupt the farmfight” and the guild doesn’t have to waste their resources on traps. Further more 1 SC should have instead of 24% chance not to increase attrition, 80% and WT 20% instead of 8%. Also no cap on limiting attrition. On top of that building times are reduced by 50% and there’s no chance buildings get destroyed when the provinces are conquered.


To balance the private GbF seasons, no rewards are handed out to any #X spot to the guild, only personal rewards cause that’s all GbF about after all. However private GbF servers costs servers fee. So, a new resource will be added to the guild treasure: RL local currency. For the small small price of €25 a guild can purchase a private GbF server for 1 season & can invite an ally who can join for free. Alternatively a guild can join an private GbF server with another paying allied guild for €20, or €15 for an private server with 1-2 other guild(s). For just €20 a month an guild can signup for a season pass subscription. Aslong the subscription is active the guild can freely invite an allied guild to join their GbF private server, join a random GbF server or join a private GbF server with another guild of choice who has also access to the private GbF server.
This way GbF will be overall more enjoyable for the “top” guilds who absolute don’t like this improvement as it means attrition is coming their way. Also it’s the ultimate solution to get rid of those annoying other guilds “disrupting” the farmfight.” Hopefully inno will take this in consideration. As this capitalisation of GbF can secure a great new income for Inno with this optional semi P2W feature. While also offering the “top” guilds an option to bail out of the improvement and joining an heaven-like GbF server exclusively for them and their allies.

You still need to build enough Camps/Watchtowers to get any attrition reduction at all you know? ^^
Of course it will not be 100% reduction anymore, but 66.6% is worth the 4 Camps in my eyes. :)
66,6% is nothing. It basically increases attrition almost every time. camps are now useless. why spend goods on them? and diamonds to speed up building? Small guilds are now essentially screwed. Big guilds with large, powerful players will now entirely dominate the map.

actually it is every 3rd time

if 3 times more fights (than without camps) is useless for you: then yes

why spend goods on them?
because there are too much goods in the treasury which can't all be spend elsewhere

play GvG more activly and GB and you will have empty treasure xD
we are on eery GB using 100-200 k goods from only Future Era

to maximaliza effectivnes of good we have players from only EP+ cuz other ages are so hard to get.
