Cannot Reproduce: ERR_TO_MANY_REDIRECTS after clearing cache

Reproduction Steps:
1. After this moronings update starting the game failed with "server errer"
2. Cleared cache and cookies
3. Calling https://zz.forgeofempires.com" results after approximately 20 redirects to the same page in an error meassage from chrome named "ERR_TO_MANY_REDIRECTS"

Same error message you can get with incognito window

Calling https://zz.forgeofempires.com/page/ results in a page displaying an iframe with the error message "404 not found - nginx". The URL that cannot be found is "https://zz.forgeofempires.com/glps/iframe-login".

I tried clearing cache and cookies several times and restarting the browser does not help, too.

I have the same problem, I can´t log in the game on PC neither iPhone I have been trying all day. Nothing works. But I can play as usual on ALPHA Argentina server

..I don't own any Apple gadgets (except for a Cider Mill *gg*) - but I'd be very surprised if the iOS App would have an accessible dev console so that you could see that you have the same redirect error (that's what this bug report is about)

[btw, tried clearing the cache a few times after reading this post on Tuesday - didn't get any redirect errors, might have been something temporarily during a game update..?]

The result of this problem is that I can´t play on Beta server because I can´t log in. I have tried on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and my iPhone for several days. The message on my iPhone says sth like "connection lost" please check your internet or wi-fi connection and try again. On my iPhone I still receive the pop ups messanges like Dunarsud: your offer has been accepted, Dunarsud: you have been disconnected for 2 days ... I don´t remember all of them, but the usual pop up menssages. I do the same steps to log in on my account on Alpha server and it works on PC and iPhone. So I can play on Argentina server, but I can´t play on Beta server for some reason idk (btw I created a Beta account by middle Fall Event).

Based on your screenshots I'd suggest bookmarking the actual game page: https://zz0.forgeofempires.com/page/

And attempt logging in from there. The urls you have on the screenshots there are not direct links to the game page. I do not know where they are from but they're clearly different links. Even though it leads directly to zz1 (Dunarsund), the long string beyond the main page's name probably shouldn't be there.

click from Beta Forum (https://forum.beta.forgeofempires.com/index.php) "to the game" (https://zz0.forgeofempires.com/page/), log in with correct user name and password (https://zz0.forgeofempires.com/page/), click "play" then "Dunarsund" (https://zz0.forgeofempires.com/page/#), wait for the web page to charge, still charging, menssage of the page charge took too long time (https://zz1.forgeofempires.com/game...E&cid=1571910516&ref=&start_page_type=game_v1) and the same screenshoot again T.T

What I´m feeling now is this (try to picture this with imagination xD):
I boil the water (enter Beta Forum)
I put the tea in the bottom of the cup (log in: username)
Add hot water (log in: password)
Let the tea steep (loading)
And before I can serve the tea, somehow the teacup is broken for no apparent reason (can´t play on Beta server) LOL

sadly yes, I did it too and I can´t play either I don´t use firewall, proxy, or any other advance internet things, I´m a regular/basic internet user LOL

Lili, when trying the App - are you using a WiFi or a real mobile connection?
If WiFi - is it the same connection you use for trying with your computers/ browsers?
Which connection do you use in general? (individual internet access? shared with some neighbors? student access at university? VPN connection with your employer...?)

Since internet was installed, all the installed things remain the same position (the modem box with a lot of dust of course )

Which connection do you use in general? (individual internet access? shared with some neighbors? student access at university? VPN connection with your employer...?)

PC -> internet cable, direct connection with the modem
cell phone -> wifi (same PC = from the same modem)
It´s an individual internet access at home. So I think there is a problem/disconnection with my internet provider and the FoE Beta server just like what happens when I play LoL sometimes there are problems between Argentinian internet providers and the LoL Chilean Server for Latin America South .

Do you play FoE on any additional server(s) other than beta? (And if yes, is it working there?)

And it would be worth a try to use the App over a real mobile connection (not WiFi / your home internet access) - but take care, a simple login transfers ~23.5MiB of data (without cache) - so if you have a 'bad' mobile contract without data flatrate (and a hilarious high fee per transferred MiB), don't try it ^^
