i will not play the event in main servers it costs to much to pay 15-20 eyro for each soi sok or hof i dont think so,and i think that here must have 1000 diamonds every day to finish this event is this a beta or main server?

I for one am happy (but was surprised) that we no longer need to hide eggs. Getting eggs from the town hall is also very nice. Now, with 8/11 quests done I only hope that the usual horrible no-choice 'scout a province' and 'research a tech' has been removed entirely or at least come with choices. I deliberately avoid research for the time being to stock up on free goods from my GBs, and scouting provinces take way too long for me. I haven't been able to finish the last 2-3 events because of the need to do such quests.

hello, i test and speaks with Friends in the last day´s , and when we must play with this Event, than pleas give us more eggs??
Or the chest´s not for 40/75/150 , maybe for the eggs we is now on Beta the Chest price must not eceed bronze 25 / silver 45 / gold 75 eggs
And the Flowers for the Big win ( 250 Flowers ) is a little bit to much , i Think better are when ther cost (when the Flowers is by the Chest the same at now?!) ~ 125-175 Flowers !?!
or you give by every chest more Flowers !?! but pls no 1 or 2 flowers more , by every chest ~ 100%- 200% more !?!
I see this is the last Chance that not so much Players are very Bad ,and dont buy Diamonts??

I would not count on them removing those quests. They would require more diamond purchases to complete quickly and would cut into the bottom line.

The March Update from Inno shows that the hidden eggs will be located in the trees surrounding your town. Not in the town. So I guess decos will not be needed. Since they are adding this feature late in Beta. They should increase the rate at which eggs are hidden in our trees so we can catch up. At this rate, no one will earn the grand prize without spending diamonds. I will spend diamonds to get more of a special building like SoK. But I have never needed to spend diamonds just to finish an event.
Yep, worst Easter Event ... ever. It is going to cost Inno a lot of money because folks on the live servers won't buy diamonds if the event is this bad. I am sticking to my estimate of lost revenue for Inno: min. of 500K Euros. We need Trump to tell the idiot who messed this up..."You're fired"!!!

Reboot and give us the old hide and seek Easter Event. These quests are so simple and no fun at all. Listen to us players, we dont want to demolish supply buildings and build 2 new ones. We want to look for eggs in our decorations and make others happy with a lucky egg. I will stop playing this event, because there is too much rubbish. Im am disappointed in Foe, not everything has to be about selling diamonds. Give us the old Easter Event back.
Well this is one part of it. A text that is summarizing a lot of the responses above. What i am wondering is why there is a beta. I thought it was used for determining flaws and faults in events and upgrades. Why then is it that when we point to certain faults and flaws, the introduction on the real worlds of an event or new version is always with all the faults and bugs that we pointed out at the beta version. What is the use of a beta if nothing is changed?

Inno TV says there are suppose to be eggs hidden in surrounding woods of your city. The hidden eggs are suppose to be triggered by daily log in, quests fulfilled, opening treasure chests. I have seen no eggs around my nearby woods. What is up with that?

We actually said that we don't know if we're right. We also said that we will see how the 2016 version performs and basing on its performance we'll make a decision about 2017
What you are saying is:
"We dont care about the Players we have NOW... if the old players leave now, we will change the event next year to get some new players..."
I think you should know: To get new players is more expensive then to keep old ones.
But this has nothing to do with words like : "we need your feedback, please tell us what you think about blablabla..."
WHY should we give any feedback if you never was intendet to change anything based on the feedback?

The Color Guard is the new Drummer I suppose. I had deleted the drummer after a week of testing because Alcatraz prioritized its production by at least 50% and in the battle I found it useless. Not even the 4% attack bonus was worth to keep it because the loss in Alcatraz was more than it provided.
I tested my first CG today and it too was a huge disappointment.

- Again, Alcatraz prioritizes its production and out of my 6 units, 3 were CG. The rest champion and rogue.
- I went to battle with 2 champ, 5 rouge and 1 CG. 3 of my rouges turned into CG's and they were easily killed by the enemy units. Worrying that my remaining 2 rouges would also turn into CGs I retreated immediately. Since CG bonuses don't accumulate, the rouges should be prevented from turning into CG or drummer. This is a huge minus and even though we go into battle with a strong army, we risk to lose it because of units like CG or drummers. Shouldn't the case be the opposite? I mean they are supposed to be bonuses and strengths to our army but instead they only weaken it!

I must say....this event is a great disappointment!!!!
I agree. Very disappointing event. Rewards hard to obtain, eggs are hard to come by. Basically seems Inno wants players to spend money to buy diamonds to get prizes. Oh well, can't fix a game but can fix event. Great job. NOT!

I started playing last year shortly after the Easter Event and have been looking forward to it. The lack of the old-style shop is a HUGE disappointment. I had every intention of buying diamonds on the live servers but doubt that I will bother now. Too much cost for not enough reward.
Having just read the developer response to the feedback...
really, you think quests are EXCITING? they're tedious, irritating, and the only reason they get done is a belief that the reward is worth the trouble. P.S. in recent events you've been falling short on that and the increased frequency of them is making it a problem. Hiding eggs was a novel mechanic and i honestly liked the 1 month break from aid chores to keep my actions open in order to egg people back who egged me!
As someone who almost didn't participate in easter on my main server last year, i'll let you know my reason why though: the rewards i wanted weren't terribly obtainable in the shop. I wound up buy large quantities of the random chests not because i felt they were exciting but because the things i had been waiting for to show up weren't available as a pick-what-you-want prize(rogues and SoKs). So i prayed for the 5% or whatever it was chance that a SoK would come out of that silly gold chest and it never did. I built a drummer school and kept it around for a little while to hope it'd get buffed to relevance in later ages somehow, it never did (adding rally AND the armor might make it a wash). My alt servers loaded up on wishing wells, so at least something good came out of that event.
The egg hiding was a wonderful format for an event, and the store was a nice change from the summer casino and winter prize board - if only it had the right items on it. This year's feel's a little too much like winter where it'll be save for a day and dump all your eggs at once, only less reliable. Also the conversion rate of diamonds->average eggs to get a prize you want is much worse compared to buying stars at christmas or tickets at summer. If you cut 1/3 of the price off all 3 chests it'd probably be a better balance both in terms of diamonds to get more prizes and the rate that eggs seemed to be coming in. Alternatively if the chest contents had more desirable things(see below) the price would be fine as is but since likely the only things i want out of the chest at all are the daily special and to a lesser extent the reno kits... it's a bit steep!
Criticism of this year's buildings:
foeberge - supplies, *yawn* - it's fine that it exists but it'll be sitting in my inventory until i decide to build it just to delete it...
deco - meh, some people like to make pretty towns so gotta have one, but *yawn*
color guard - really, did we need another specialty unit that gets outdated some time in the middle ages? what was wrong with applying the champion model to drummers and now color guards where we'd need to reno kit to get them to the right age but they'd actually be potentially useful to everyone? if they kept their movement characteristics it'd discourage using them in the heavy rogue setups so they probably wouldn't even be the strongest option, but hey they might provide an interesting alternative in places.
edit: forgot shrine of inspiration - 3x3? i mean i'm not a fan of getting 1 meager random blueprint to begin with, but making it bigger than the other shrines and on a different period so that it's likely to get out of sync with them over time, yick.

Send this P.O.S of event to recicle bin, get the old event or at the least bring back the watchfires/ww or get ready to get your face hard smash on your next board meeting when you show them that you lost revenues with your so wonderfull easter event! It seems that in my community 90% will not buy any diamonds in easter event (live servers). keep up the good work, i am gonna tell what i said a few months ago to another company...wellfare is nice xD
