Yes just tested opening it and closing it a few times. It was different when I first logged in after the change yesterday, but since then it's remembered it.
but if there was no fourth zoom level, it would have been more apparent that the city surroundings were increased and the city buildings stayed the same size
hm... buggy then... It does not even save it, when I log out properly
or an A/B test... who knows (@Juber maybe

Agreed, the 4th level of zoom affects the way it's seen.

Oh I would love a nice zoom out for GBG, I keep trying to zoom out, then realising it doesn't work!
The game will remember the last zoom level you had. But you have to do any other interaction with the game for it to be saved (for example opening a building tooltip)but if there was no fourth zoom level, it would have been more apparent that the city surroundings were increased and the city buildings stayed the same size

It is more like - now there are more possible positions for incidents again. In my saab city on live, I barely have 4 or 5 positions where incidents may appear on land - that makes searching for those way easier.
This one seems a bit too close to the shore
some of the shore incidents also seem a bit off, but only marginally
I have reported it, together with various other locations, where it looks weird (sos carved into stone and grass, dinosaur bones overlapping half a deer, fisherman fishing inside a stone, ...).
