this feedback is not about the research tree feedback since I haven't gotten that yet, but about the forum color changes.. I am well over 60 yrs old, this background is nice, but the text color is not enough of a contrast for me to read easily. If I am sitting comfortably, the letters start to blur into the background, so please make the text darker

I wish! LOLany progress on the dark theme option?
OTOH, I've gotten used to the new Forum layout. Using the high contrast mode (many phones and computers have them under accessibility) will allow you to invert the colors. Sure, it makes my avatar much more creepy than he already is in the anime, but at least the dark blue makes it easier on my eyes.
