the quest requirement can be misleading :eek:

gain 40 population and happiness
means: 20 population and 20 happiness = 40 in total

405 coins, supplies and goods
is 200 coins, 200 supplies and 5 goods = 405 in total

I don't like the HUGE difference of comparable prizes

lets take medals

one day: HUGE mega pack AND many small packages:
following board in CE has a value of 36.800 medals

and today: Victory Tower
gives medals. one 100 per week
so let us look at the board of today
attachment.php

only ONE small of those towers and only one small (not even the normal) medal packages

so to reach the value of the medal day board you need amazing 352 weeks ( (36800-1600)/100) !!!!!
that are more than 6,7 years to get to the same result :eek:

There are better days and worse days ago. This is normal. (but today was really horrible).

Still to come the Christmas tree, which I think should have been long ago, in order to decorate the city. This tree will only appear when Christmas is over?
(Anyway, now no one else will want it, because with the update nobody wants decoration in the city)

* hope for WW 1 more time....

Yes - but shouldn't Christmas day (Day 24) be one of the better days? The second boards (victory tower + lots of coins/supplies) is day 24!

...and what about the other winter buildings?
So far there have been:
* confectionary: 3 times (on day 25 it was in fact a "you got nothing, it has been placed to your inventory" prize - or did anyone get the confectionary yesterday?)
* extra-large medal package: 2 times
* extra-large star package: 2 times
* Winter Gate 2 times

For what would be the Christmas holidays on the Live servers:
* victory tower (+lots of coins/supplies) on day 24 (this will be Christmas Eve on the live servers; shouldn't this be somewhat more "special"?)
* Confectionary (or: nothing??) on day 25
* Premium house on day 26

What about:
* Gingerbread house?
* Christmas Tree?
* Reindeer paddock?
* Winter market?

All of them between day 27 and day 31? So 4 winter specials in a row? I doubt....

if the board is empty you would get a new one without that

I strongly suspect that a lot of the "special prizes" we're getting on beta are "placeholders" - maybe they're still working on the improved reindeer etc.

Note that the event isn't the "Christmas event"; it's the "winter event" so presumably Inno is making an effort to be at least slightly more inclusive of players who aren't Christians. December 24th is Christmas Eve (not Christmas Day) and this year the 24th is also the final day of Hanukkah. Still, in my opinion it's tricky to say any day in this period "deserves" a better prize than another. Are more or fewer players likely to be on line on the main RL holidays, and should anyone be penalized either way?

"Special prizes" should be attractive every day, and we should be able to work out for ourselves when our RL celebrations begin and end, and how much of them we want to spend on line.
