Wondering for a long time, so finally decided to ask.........In my account i notice trophy points what are they good for and when do you get them?

I think it's mostly for fun. You get rewarded with trophy points for hitting milestones: posting X posts, getting Y likes in total. Similar to "ranks" but they're nowadays tight to number of messages posted. The highest for example is legend (3.000 or more posts). It used to be given as a batch of honour for reporting a given number of bugs.
