Stupid question --need some 1 to answer !!

I have a silly question , hope some 1 can answer for me ..

English is my 2nd english... i do not quite understand..what is those setting..

when i click my setting

I see there is "active" or "inactive"

my question are :

Hardware Acceleration

the right side..it is "inactive" with box for u to "tick"

i do not "tick" it , it is a empty box there

since I do not "tick" it

do it mean " hardware acceleration" is inactive

or

i should "tick" that box
so Hardware acceleration will "inactive"

any 1 give me that answer ??

If you tick it, it becomes active. You can try it yourself to doublecheck that, and then deactivate it again.
