Beta is like any other server, you have to start from the beginning and play fresh. If you remain active you will get some diamonds to test out new stuff. Hope you have a blast :)

The only shortcut of some sort is that you get "free" diamonds for testing events and sometimes new features. Due to the frequency of events the diamond flow should be fairly consistent.
