New GB window - Full Release

Greetings Beta,

We want to thank you all for the feedback, and for bearing with us during the limited staged testing of the new Great Building window.
As of today, all players will have the new version activated on Beta.

We currently plan to do a few small improvements to it:

  • Add more feedback to the "available Forge Points" section so that it is clearer when you're close to running out of your Forge Points. We think this will help with some of the issues of people hitting the "spend" buttons very often and not realizing they didn't have any left.
  • Improve timing of information being updated in the screen. One example: we'll address an issue where the "available Forge Points" number can be incorrect for a second or two.
  • We'll make it so that your contributions are highlighted in the contribution list, instead of the owner always being highlighted.
For now, we're completing the release so that everyone is using the same content.

Also, a special mention to two pieces of feedback that we've received and will keep in mind, but currently have no immediate plans for:
  • "An option to define a custom amount of Forge Points to contribute": This would be a fundamental change to how contributions work, and we've seen arguments for both sides.
  • "Buttons for different packages": the new screen basically treats your Forge Point packages as an inventory pool to draw from, and it will draw from them depending on your spending. The different sizes of packages aren't as important as they used to be.
