Have other players noticed a significant increase in game lag with the last update. Scrolling around my city, in the research window, and battles are taking a lot longer.

Is this due to the soccer event having to constantly update the reward values?

I think it is "Hardware acceleration"

it start from that update and

i think their design is not just
"turn on or turn off" hardware acceleration

there may have some part of the design..even u do not "turn it on", it is always there
