Dear Kings and Queens,
What would the world be if you didn't have any friends? We bet it would be a dark and sad place. To make sure you're not in danger of ending up with no in-game friends, we came up with a brand new social feature: Friends Tavern!
Every player in Forge of Empires can now unlock a new building outside of their cities – The Friends Tavern. In this building, you can welcome all your in-game friends from your friend list at your very own tavern table:
This Silver can be spent on powerful boosts – like Coin & Supply Boosts, fair Merchants that trade goods with you, and a city shield that protects you from aggressive neighbors:
All these boosts are time-based and require certain payment in Tavern Silver. Also, to unlock more powerful boosts, you need your Tavern to be large enough.
To maximize your profits in your Tavern, you can increase your table size and buy new chairs – to make space for even more friends.
At any given time, you might collect the Tavern Silver your visitors generated. Doing that will also clear your table. All the current visitor will leave your tavern, making space for new ones. In order to get visitors, you should visit the Taverns of all of your friends! Similar to the Aid functionality, you can visit the Tavern of each friend once a day via the social bar:
The key to success is having a lot of active friends that help each other every day – so everyone can generate a lot of Tavern Silver!
| You will also notice that a few buttons still carry a "coming soon" badge. As soon as they are available, they will allow you to customize your tavern to your liking. Some of them will also be quite useful! |
The Friends Tavern will be available cross-platform once released live, but during the Beta phase, it is only available in the browser version of the game.
