Where would it possible to know that after how many posts you become a Private, Corporal, Master Corporal etc.?

Good question! ... although I cannot give an unambiguously answer on your question, I can give you a hint:

• click on the Members tab;
• take a look at the rank and the # of messages;
• note at which # of messages a forum rank changes

P.S. the forum ranking only says something about the amount of posts a forum member made...
it is no indication at all about the quality of those posts

Ad a moderator you should be able to see it in your forum settings. It is something that can be changed.
