I have some issues with the flying island shards and how they are planned... hope this was not discussed before...
1.) level up of the flying island
- leads to all currently planned (and possibly exisiting shards) to be removed from the scheduler
- shards are then rerolled (rescheduled/randomized) for the rest of the day - leading to fewer shards beeing planned in lots of cases (this is the opposite of what a level up should do)
--> when leveling up, exisiting shards and planned shards should stay, the rerolling should only affect potential additional shards
Otherwise, the current behavior can be "abused" by checking the game files for planned shards and only level up the island when no further shards are scheduled for the current day, possibly leading to more shards beeing planned.
2.) finishing a settlement (Edit: or abandoning)
- leads to all currently planned and exisiting shards to be removed from the scheduler - i.e. - they get "robbed" from the player
- [edit, correction] shards are rerolled when starting a new settlement
--> ideally, shards should stay as scheduled and should be adapted to the next settlement (should one be running)
[edit, correction] The current behavior may be abused, as the settlement may be started over and over again every morning until a certain number of shards is rolled for the day
