Discussion December 2020: the end of Flash

This is actually more a question (or actually a few of them) towards Inno but also a starting point of a discussion that would follow...

In december 2020 the support for Flash in most browsers will cease, therefore no new updates to it will be made, and shortly after (and in some browsers like Chrome: on the same day) general support for Flash in that browser will be removed completely. This will obviously impact FoE players as some of them (still) use the Flash version of the game.

So there a few questions that arise:
- What will happen with FoE in general?
- Will there still be some sort of residual support for players using Flash?
- Will they get automagically switched to HTML5 version (or else they cannot play anymore)?
- Will Inno release something that can be installed so that people who are stubborn can still continue to use that Flash version? (doubtful imho)
- Will FoE Flash support (and additions on its version for upcoming events) be dropped prior to December 2020 or not?
- Will players using the GvG or any other bot which only works on Flash-based FoE be punished? (flogged, bashed, banned, criticized, pick your choice :p) (j/k btw)
- Will there be mobile support for browser-based FoE (therefore enabling them to use the features missing in mobile)?

Nothing, why should something happen?

No, again why? Flash will no longer Supporter by browsers, so the foe flash version will disappear.

Without flash, they have no other choice.

I think they will keep it as long as possible.

Not more/less then currently. I don't see why there should be something changes with the death of flash.

You have the app for mobile. Foe is and will probably not be support the mobile browsers.

Several other browsers (e.g. IE9) do not support HTML5, so for players stuck on those Flash is the only option, as insecure as it is (though the operating systems such browsers work on aren't supported anymore anyways, so it's all insecure).
Unless support for those players is dropped, Flash will stay for a while.
