In the guild expeditions negotiation windows the auto select button has disappeared.
Was there a lot of gripe about it? I found it quite helpful.

Exactly what I was going to ask. I was desperately waiting for it to appear on live servers and it disappeared even on Beta instead. Why?? Please, put it back.

It has indeed been removed for now, but we'll take your feedback under consideration.
Thanks for the answer.
It didn't work 100%, sometimes it was choosing obviously wrong items, BUT I believe it shouldn't work 100% because autobattles don't work 100% either. In quite a few combinations of battles I will loose autobattle but can easily win manual battle. So - to be fair - auto negotiation should work same way, not always correct, so the player has to look and think (sometimes at least ;)). And it DOES HELP, especially the boring clicking in early stages of GE, where you literally cannot loose, but it is quite tedious to do it manually.
So yes, please, if you could reconsider, it would be awesome.
Thanks

We made an important change earlier this week already. We have now removed the happiness modifier for battles and replaced it with a 1.2 modifier. This change was done because of various reasons. Firstly, it led to many additional requests, which in result led to a significant server load, especially shortly after a new battleground started. Secondly, this modifier had a significant influence when it was introduced. Over the years the game changed and many players have an enthusiastic population and if they don't have it, they don't care about the points. Because of these facts it was decided to go this way. For most players, it will not make any difference at all, for some it will lead to slightly more ranking points from battles (if their population was not enthusiastic).
We will later also adjust the screen in the battle result window (as it still shows a happiness icon).

good change :)

at the beginning we controlled the population with houses. the amount we needed

today we get too much population from event buildings (but not enough happiness: for example Crows Nest SAJM 18600 pop, no happiness)
so we don't have much influence on the population (except not building them but with other useful building stats that is not really an option)

Another race to the bottom?
Satisfaction among all players, apart from beginners, was ONLY used to benefit from the bonus in combat. If instead Inno gives 1.2 to everyone, the satisfaction will no longer be of any use, except only to validate event quests.
Another less strategic element!!!
Innogames will change the name of its flagship game when? in CasinOE???

I also loved it. It increased the speed of negotiations a lot- so much less tedious. It is possible to use it to fill the slots and then change a few of the ones to customize the trade before submitting. It is still much faster. PLEASE bring it back. :) Its use is optional so why take it away from those of us who like using it?

OMG. This is the only thing in few years shows that somewhere in the bowels of Inno there are still specialists, except painters. They managed to use the debugger, but also realized that there are things in the game that are hopelessly absolete and only interfere with the gameplay. Alas, I cannot evaluate this in practice. My city is on pause here.

PS: just don't change the size of the battle result window when you will adjust it. Please-please-please
