again, I find the decision to add the individual pieces to the dealer instead of selection kits very poor
It already is a wonder whenever something useful shows up - adding ever more possible show ups just decreases these chances even more

I definitely agree. There are too many items in the AD already, adding a bunch more will simply dilute the pool even more, so that the items you want come up less often. I don't think removing items is the right way to improve it, there are plenty of niche items certain players would hate to lose, so the natural solution seems to be to group items into selection kits instead of having every single variation available.
Also, I played a bit on beta today... it felt painfully slow at times in comparison with live servers - is it only me?

this happens to me almost daily now, simple actions like aiding or loading any windows takes and extra second. it doesn't happen all day just sometimes.
I also had the problem that the mouse cursor was vanishing (going invisible) from time to time - especially when in the event window...

Why is not possible to offer an universal hippodrome selection kit at the the dealer?

It would be good for each addition to the antique dealer to remove as many items.
Some items are not bought by anyone and could disappear without bothering anyone (for example Sundial)
