Not A Bug: Combat AI

Just started on the ME map and was wondering if the AI has changed or bugged, with 7 rouges and one heavy all the enemy units seem to attack 1 rouge transforming it then attack the same unit untill its dead and then move to next rouge, it used to attack all the rouges transforming them and then attach each.

That is normal behavior for the AI in this situation. They target rogues mercilessly.
