i just googled and it says gazillion is a "fictitious" number. why cant they use "B"...just makes everything so confusing lol

G is for the metric prefix giga, which denotes a billion. For example, a gigabyte is a billion bytes. A five-thousand-meter race isn't called a 5T, it's called a 5K, kilo being the metric for thousand.

ok i didn't know that.
in our country we have a very different numbering system.
Hundred thousand-100,000 - One Lakh
one million -1,000,000- Ten Lakh
Ten Million -10,000,000- One Crore
Hundred million -100,000,000- Ten Crore
One Billion- ,1,000,000,000 - Hundred crore/One Arab
so yeah when they use G for billion, its bit confusing
