Dear Kings and Queens,


The Beta Server has been updated to version 1.19. This update consists mostly of bugfixing, along with some other small improvements and changes. We also updated the game trailer on the landing page. Stay tuned too, because we've got something special coming soon! All accounts were credited with 500 diamonds, and an updated GvG mission thread can be found here.

Features and changes



  • Updated trailer on the Forge of Empires landing page.


Bugfixes


  • The Rogue started a battle uncloaked when the enemy had paratroopers which would attack him in the first move. This issue has been fixed.
  • Reviving a unit after a battle could cause an error. This has been fixed.
  • The revenge button did not direct to the army management screen. This problem has now been resolved.
  • The wrong winner could be displayed in a tournament. Now, if we merge 2 neighborhoods, the better player will now be champion of the new neighborhood.
  • In some cases, battle points did not count towards global ranking. This problem has now been fixed.
  • Various small issues on the Maintenance Page have been fixed.
  • Selecting Retreat from the Unfinished Business prompt after losing units causes lost units to be displayed as present in Military Buildings. This problem has been solved.
  • During PE automatic battles it was possible for the battle to get stuck. This issue no longer occurs.
  • It was possible for new players to end up alone in a neighborhood. We have now improved merging of new players, and previously inactive players, to address this problem.
  • A player who has not accepted cookies would be sent back and forth between landing and login page. This issue has been addressed.
  • It was possible to motivate the same building several times before pickup of production. This is now no longer possible.
  • There were some cases where the Guild invitation page would not stop loading. This problem has been fixed.
  • Players who contributed to a Great Building will now still be displayed even if deleted.

GvG Bugfixes and Feature Changes
  • The guild now has the option to relocate their HQ from the GvG map.
  • Only the guilds participating in GvG were shown in the Global Rankings - this has been fixed
  • Added animation that shows the player the question marks for GvG help content
  • Fixed a display error when guild reached max level
  • There was a missing space in map ranking heading
  • Fixed a Flash error on relocating the Headquarters
  • Fixed a wrong guilds counter in some provinces tooltips
  • Fixed an issue where some peaceful NPC Sector can not be conquered
  • Fixed an issue where the guild flag was not loaded after placing siege army
  • Changed the guild levels tab to display GvG Level rather than experience
  • Fixed an issue where some tooltips appeared on top of the Army Management window in the GvG map
  • Fixed an issue where clicking allow Fullscreen prompt's Accept button also clicks object behind the button
  • Fixed an issue where the go to HQ function pans to incorrect location when Guild has been eliminated but Daily Calculation has not yet occurred
  • Fixed an issue where Sector selection indicator does not always appear when hovering over a sector
  • Fixed an issue where GvG Map doesn't update on NPC Takeover
  • Changed some inconsistent references to sectors as provinces
  • Fixed an issue on the Province Map - White/Grey background when viewing guild forum and premium screen
  • Fixed an issue where there was a large blue bar at bottom of GvG screen after entering Fullscreen while in battle
  • Fixed an issue where long guild names overlap tooltip space when placing a sector under Siege
  • Fixed an issue where panning the camera left in Province view was very difficult
  • Users without rights will now have greyed out buttons for actions they can not perform
