Discussion attack percentage

I swapped my lavender bed for cypress bed and found that my attack percentage didn't change as much as I thought?

The Cypress Pass gives 8% Attack Boost if chained to the Terracotta Vineyard.
  • How was your Attack Boost % before the change?
  • How is your Attack Boost % now, after the change?
  • What exactly you changed?
    • How many Cypress Pass you added to the city? If you connected four (4) of them, then your Attack Boost % increased by 32%., close to the 30% you think.
    • Any other change made that impacts Attack Boost %?
      • A new level to your Statue of Zeus, Cathedral of Aachen, Castle Del Monte or Terracotta Army?
      • Other special/event building added? Or upgraded in any way?
