Feedback Fall Event 2020

Loving the event.

Just realized the sillyness that we can actually produce:
* Cinnamon in the LMA Spice trader (just 5min each!) - matbe that is why I haver such a surplus of the stuff
* Chocolate in the Confectionary (any age, can buy in Auctioneer from EMA up, takes 15min)
* Apples in the Bronze age Fruit farm (1h each!)
* Pumpkins in the HMA farm (8h each)
* We should be able to make caramel anyway, since it is just sugar and water and almost all of the recipes require sugar to some extent, so that cannot be in short supply

It's almost the 'finish each production option once' quest, with just a 4h caramel production missing and maybe a 24h Large bags of flour in the Windmill.
Doing that might be a nice bonus quest for 10 of each ingredient. Available from LMA up, so that would be unfair to new players. But very much in the spirit of things.

It might almost make a new mini game in itself, though I am not in favor of making the events more complicated (no more St Patrick's and card collecting tournaments please!) and this event is fine the way it is. : )

Its not always an option to pick 1 ingredient cake every time, right now I can only choose between 3 star cakes to bake.
Well obviously in rare cases you have all 3 star cakes, but you mentioned before that you were deliberately choosing the worst option so I was responding to that statement.

Concerns the Daily Challenge from today (03. 08. 2020)
Fall Event Ingredience: Defeat this very large army

This army to be defeated does not only consist of 16 enemies but has a boost of 60% ( !!) For two ingredience I find that rather high

You could get the same challenge for a couple coins...

And as the wording implies - it is a challenge...

Does that actually work and give you the noted goods???

2nd question: How do you "finish each production option once"? Does that mean finish each production building from your era once?

The grand prize list on fandom shows 18 prizes, with 6 Harvest Fields Selection Kits and 3 Harvest Barn Upgrades. So a complete cycle is 18 * 20 = 360 ingredients, or 360 * (2450/30) = 29400 diamonds. Which works out to 29400/6 = 4900 diamonds per selection kit.

Does this look right or am I missing some information?

If you're planning to do them in bulk, yup, that looks right.

And yes, it seems expensive - but the fields are capable of the most efficient FP/tile or Attack/Tile of any spammable buildings. So the price is understandable.

To me it's a rip-off. 4900 for a single selection kit. And in 1 year time fields selection kit will be daily prize unless IG changes this aspect. And those who won't spend 220 ingredients or won't finish in 20% league won't be able to max out barn. How many times there was a situation when player log in every day + does all quests and still is short for last upgrade?

20% league should be a given for active players who complete the whole event. (That is to say 80% of players not reaching that standard is the norm on live servers - on beta with the free diamonds it tends to be harder to hit bronze league).

This event is more forgiving than most for not maxing out the grandprize though - there's a 5-field (no barn) set I kinda prefer over the full 6 fields + barn set. You should be able to make something of interest to you at the end of the event even if you come up short.

And in recent events: It's a risk every time - this seems to be how they're balancing them now. You need incident-doubloons to max the governor's villa. You needed good luck on incident rewards in the soccer event. You'll need to keep atop daily challenges and incidents in fall event. Or be prepared to spend *a little* diamonds.

Not saying it's not expensive, but you also have to take into consideration the daily prices you get. Let's say 7% chance per ingredient, that's around 1.2k diamonds per daily special, so around 4 daily specials as well.

The price is high, but I don't mind paying it. You're getting the very best event buildings in the game, and the odds of a daily special are quite decent.

Depends on luck again :) freaking forge of casino, not Empires

I came here wondering who on earth would make a harvest moon festival on their city and xiv popped in. ;) I mean I guess they're good "per tile", but then you have to have all of these buildings touching each other and a road.
