Feedback Summer Event 2024

Someone described the number of coins to play as Stingy. Besides agreeing with them, I will add two words off my own.

RIP OFF!

Am I playing a game or is this a con job?
Please. The purpose of the Beta server in general, and the Feedback thread in particular, is to provide information to the Devs regarding how to correct and/or improve features of the game. How, exactly, does "feedback" such as this achieve the goal? It's a rhetorical question. The answer is "it doesn't".

I see no tiles on the shuffleboard and after pressing start , I get the messsage "not enough resources available" Yesterday everything worked well so what to do?

The number of coins we get is not enough to gain one calendar key per day let alone one or more dragon pieces. We only get enough keys per day for maybe 4 tries.

We have said for YEARS, put a shuffle button on the side of the game, don't have it on the board. The shuffle key on the board is not fun - its frustrating for the player because it takes control out of the player and makes it a random punishment. I've gotten the shuffle in the first 3 draws multiple times, all it did was change my board from the one I wanted to something else. Its a waste of time and hurts the player.

That's correct, but why we have to repeat our feedback each year on the same event.

For example,

This feedback is not considered from last year which is still applicable to current event and upcoming winter event too. Is there anyone knew why this feedback not taken by dev team.

Summer event 2025 also same feedback I can copy paste without fail and share in the 2025 summer event feedback thread. So, we maintain dignity and decorum, but where is the respect for our feedback. It's mostly like whatever we suggest dev team not going to implement even though it is balanced and useful for everyone.

If they cannot fix it, then they should change the event design pattern. Simply they cannot keep the same event pattern without making improvements suggested in the feedback thread each year for the same event.

Yes, same here. I used today around 340 Coins to get the key. Hit 3-4 times Shuffle at the beginning for a new board (with this luck I should play Euro Millions)...
Btw: Does Inno has a Casino licence? For me this looks too much after luck-gambling: Too less coins, Keys only on every 2nd board, no possibility to reshuffle - even worse no possibility on the Dragon board...
Furthermore: only 1 Viceroys update - even in the passes is not an additional available...

Not that happy yet

I think that we have different expectations regarding feedback. It appears that you expect the Devs to act on your feedback suggestions. I have no such expectations. I only expect them to read the feedback and consider it along with all the other feedback. Perhaps they act upon it, perhaps not.

What's wrong in it expecting like that. I didn't expect them to act immediately also. If they are planning to improve something in the event, we are suggesting one specific things in the event which annoys every player and after reading no actions means then why they keep this feedback. Just to vent out our emotions and impressions if they keep our feedback means, let them openly dictate that one to us. Once they acknowledge and then if we keep expectations then they can come and ask like why do you expect us to act on your feedback.

If you have expectations, you're going to be disappointed. :p Last year they did change some of the pirates event from our feedback, just not this one. So they're listening but they made a choice to not do it that/this time around. Either it wasn't feasible (technically or it would put too much work to recalibrate the event), or yanno they used to be a german company, or yanno now they're part of some trust fund company just want to make those dime sales and want the minigame to garner the most dimes.

When Dev's will decide to make the change nobody can say exactly. That's fine, but from feedback did they consider something now or planned for future also no one can tell rite. That's the most confusing thing. In a development scenario, we keep "backlog" tickets to work once major tickets or story gets completed. Is this the case or they rejected it completely, no response. This one way communication leads to this repeated feedback and expecting to see improvement changes down by the team never to be considered wrong any time.

According to that example, shuffle now or later choices, is pretty good and it won't reduce the money factor because player must have to hit shuffle tiles to reset the board. Nothing wrong in implementing this behaviour with money or strategy or anything. Just dev team should give one day time to make the code and design changes which they are not doing it.

Shuffle has been introduced into board game events and criticized years ago. This is not a new complaint. So it would be nice to at least be told why the wanted change is not/cannot be implemented.

What you are saying is basically: Oh well, we don't know why they are doing things. So let's just assume they have their reasons.

Great. That puts an end to any sort of feedback. So what are we still doing here?!

And as for the money factor: I am prepared to spend at least a bit of money if I can see a chance of getting something I really want and am close to getting. I am not prepared to spend money big time right from the start.
The treasures cost 2,995 Diamonds to dig up. On Beta you can get 2,550 Diamonds for 19.99 Euro. So you would have to spend more than 20 Euro to dig up the treasures just once. Seriously? Most of what you get there is stuff that you can get from other sources as well. And cheaper. Think again!

You will be able to trick newbies into buying that stuff, because for them it will feel overwhelmingly fantastic. But anybody who has been actively playing FoE for at least a year will just shrug their shoulders and move on. And they are the ones who keep the game alive!

So please implement better challenges for the long-time players, while keeping it interesting for newbies as well. You need both!

And as for my personal feedback so far: I am very disappointed. This was one of the games that I really wanted to play through. But already on the first day I ran out of doubloons. Then I had several shuffles before getting anywhere near pieces of the dragon or keys. I managed to fill the treasures. But for 2,550 Diamonds??? No way ... So for me so far unfortunately an absolute fail.

tl;dr I have also been complaining about the lack of shuffle button for years, but honestly you as a player will stress out less if you don't have any expectations on the staff. I will keep complaining, but I'm not going to stress out if it doesn't happen.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

* Ascended Golden Dragon Gong: +4%def for Quantum
* Ascended Zheng's Golden Bell: +3%att for Quantum. Both lasting 10days
* It takes 67 days to get 1 of golden of Dragon/Zheng from 1 Crimson Dragon’s Breath (100pcs/[6pcs*25%])
The boost stats is very low but the time getting 1 gold upgrade is too long. I suggest to increase building size of these 2 and also increase the boost stat or they are truly not worth to take.

The second special building is Captain Bao's Warehouse which will cost many diamonds to fulfill the calendar but the main stat boosts are for expedition which is not necessary for most players IMO. Changes the boost stat to normal or BG instead so it worth it (maybe 25%def boost in Quantum is great for Quantum players but no for who is not fight in quantum).

2-й день не может играть, доска дракона загрязнена, после того, как она закончилась, не было перетасовки, после сброса она пытается запустить другую доску дракона, и я получаю это сообщение. Не могу потратить деньги, даже если бы захотел.View attachment 11323
