- The idea is to reset the cost for FPs bought with coins on some duration, such as a yearly basis so people can continue using this feature. The fact that it rises indefinitely without a reset will mean people will not be able to buy proper amount of FPs after a while.

I think this would be a good idea, it is possible that these numbers can get so high that it is just not feasible anymore for players to buy FPs with coins.
Having this reset after some duration would allow players to start buying FPs from the beginning after "attritioning out".
Balancing factor –
Every age will have a specific cost associated with it that this number resets to, for e.g. 250 coins for the Bronze age, 5000 for EMA, 10000 for HMA, etc as ages go on.
