Hello Forge Fans!

Time to prepare a banquet in this years Winter Event 2025!

This is the place to be if you have any questions about it or would like to discuss it with other players.
Please keep in mind that your opinion may differ from the opinions of other players, you don't have to convince each other of anything here. :)

Please write your feedback in a factual and constructive way and stay on topic.
So that we can pass your feedback on to the developers, the following points would be important to note:
  • Feedback that only contains one sentence like "hohoho, time for gifts" is not helpful. Please make sure to include reasons for your opinion.
  • The same goes for positive feedback. We are happy about it of course, but describing what exactly you like is always very helpful!
  • Limit your feedback to the actual content. Feedback like "You should improve X" or feedback that refers to other game content or previous events is not helpful.
  • Questions that ask when it will be released on the live server will not be answered. We always announce it in time there.
  • Don't report any bugs here. Please use the bugs forum.
  • Use the "Like" button if another player has already reflected your opinion well.

Looks like we might be getting a new event that doesn't have that woman saying stay as long as you like, we need cookie testers and the hotel is always empty (as there is nothing to do here except eat cookies) day after day after day.
I think my train will be staying in the Inventory. (not enough there of anything I need for a 7x3)

Heh, I doubt that. I only call items in stores as ITEMS, never rewards. Rewards you get from playing certain features and games, without having to buy. Then again, it'll probably be expensive as Inno still doesn't know the value of daily specials and why players wait on certain days to capitalize on getting many. That was "strategy" then; this, now, isn't strategy; it's lunacy.

However, it's the spirit of Christmas (not yet) and a few friends had thrown a gem my way for this season's GBg, I guess I could not resist in emptying volley after volley. So, I am in!

Train Chain is a potential BG/FSP target. Looks like probably multiple avenues to go after it if desired (Shop, Northwind Courier from memories).

Yukitomo upgrade moves its military room to any-dork instead of only-normal. Presumably this will be a superboard farming thing.

Royal Midnight Tower could allow retirement of Nightmare Boxes for keeping stores on hand for changing your city around regularly.

While I realise you said "apart from" this, Galactic level of Eternal Market turning into a mini-blue-galaxy is quite exciting - maybe if they'd announced this thought a year ago i'd be ready for it. Next year's plan to finish catching up ;)

Snowdrop Garden looks like a decent ascended option for QI.

This event's rewards look quite promising pre-nerf-hammer. But I refuse to be excited because I anticipate the nerf-hammer ;) Easier to not be disappointed that way.

Are you saying you will build lots of Didukhs to make Yukitomo Kits ?
I have 63 Yukitomo kits, don't want to fill my village with them.
I would like some Didukhs to make Mass Self Aid Kit fragments, as I need to self aid to make up for all the friends who are no longer playing.
 
So, the train carriages will give 1/30 of a mass self aid kit per day .......
There are no one age down kits from anything?
I keep reading, but I'm not seeing things that I need. My village will be mostly empty space soon :-)

This is why I never hit a casino. 50% chance of getting 8 frags (Diduhk Dreams) daily.

Now, a Crystal Cascade gives out 20 frags daily (or as many times as you can punch it with the FSP/SA items) along with other stuff. I currently have 5 Yukitomo (gold) buildings in my city, so I know those platinums will be expensive all thanks to the greedy little nooblet that Inno is.

I am not a fan of chain buildings so the choochoo can just stay at the station for the moment. However, I am just going to enjoy this event not for Inno but for the company that I keep... and the target I just saw in GBg that had me grinnin' ear to ear.
 
Don't forget there's no way to get silver/gold frags outside of special rivals, so even if you have a lot of dukus you'll just end up with a bunch of level 10's.

last year there were silver/gold frags on superboards

and we don't know were they will be this year in the event (maybe: weekly shop, calender door, progress, winter memoirs, maybe even on superboards again)
but a few (at least the same amount than the platinum upgrades) will be available for sure
