Receiving rewards really hinders playing golden tickets well, and I only manage to complete three boards, I very rarely have time to start the fourth.... maybe there is a tactic to skip receiving rewards, but I don't know it... then you can have time to start the sixth board...
or even the 7th board

I'd still like to bring up the major issue that if inno wants people to use ticket multipliers, 1) it doesn't multiply the chests even though the text says rewards are multiplied and really it should because you're only getting that one board but spent all those tickets ??? 2) no point in doing it, just play the multiple boards, no incentive to do so even with rival "collect N paws".

The ticket multiplier would ONLY be worth it...if we could pick the board. :helpinghands:

I don't know if Inno wants people to use them, but... I think they're attempting to respond to complains that "it's that ... come back every 8 hours" kinda event...and they're offering a way to batch play it each day. Maybe this was requested over the years, but I don't think it was gnawing at the player community as a "must have".

I candidly tried about 4 -6 of these multiplier games. Mostly 1x, did 3-4 2x, and 1-2 3x. Just to give them a fair shake.

I don't know if I did well or poorly by doing it this way.

Given the opportunity to do it again, I think the 4 slots are enough to accumulate chances, so that I wouldn't use the multiplier again unless there was some time of "sweetener" for doing so. Doesn't have to be much, but something that gives a benefit for the risk taken. What's the risk? The risk is that I see the probability of a bad board being amplified as more of a threat to playing goals, and using 3x on too many bad boards makes for event "failure" risk.

Yeah, this is a pretty big issue for me, too. The animations really slow things down. There should be a way to turn off all animation in the mini-game.

I was just coming here to post the exact same thing. I had spent my tickets and worked to get a nice lead to go to bed and after dinner I came back to check on the game and collect and I see two more days added? What is up with that?

if you go in settings and clic to make animations inactive they don't go inactive in mini-game ???

also agree @Physis ... seems like there is an extra day in that number (2 days, 9 hours). The questline presented its last quest at midnight today turning from Jan 4 into Jan 5 (server time). in 24 more hours, it becomes Jan 6 (midnight), and then 4 hour later the event goes poof from our desktops.

That's 28 total hours (1 day, 4 hours), not 2 days, 9 hours.

It's done ON PURPOSE. Much like GE was designed from day 1 - before the changes to streamline it a few months ago.

How that works: In software engineering, the term "modal" refers to using a dialog box which then blocks interaction with the main application window (the drop game itself) until the user responds to that dialog box directly. This means users must address the modal dialog box telling you of your fabulous prize reward —typically by clicking a button like "OK" or "Cancel"—before returning to the main game interface, which is in progress.

A modal dialog box introduces such a mode by temporarily altering the application's state to focus on the dialog, thereby preventing interaction with other parts of the application until the dialog is dismissed. This ensures that what INNO thinks is critical information is acknowledged or necessary input is provided before proceeding back with the game (and the countdown timer you're racing).

Inno does this, for this event, ON PURPOSE. They don't want you doing 12 screens - that's too fast.

We all get it. From their perspective, the modal dialogs during GOLD TICKET play DOES disrupt user workflows by forcing immediate attention and potentially leads to smaller accomplishments of value - especially when users are confused or frustrated by the interruption.

I'll only add that they're being removed in the game in other places, BUT... they've been added to the event to do exactly that - slow you down.

Inno gets to decide where it's important to use them - judiciously or not. Honestly they should be reserved for situations where it's essential to halt the main workflow until the user has provided the required input or made a decision.

But not every drop reward - that's just makes a click-fest - on purpose.

This has happened before, I think, not sure which event. Curious is one way to look at it and many times I am curious with Inno things. But, I do use the event clock and with 2+ days, I figured I had 2 more daily specials plus alternatives and 11 golden spoons. So, I am a little angry but not the end of the world. I just don't understand how this can happen with events, it isn't like they are a new feature. Well, I will sleep on it and look tomorrow. Many times I spend D's on this event but I took it easy this time, with the holidays and GBG war on live, I didn't have any time left to do more in this event.

How? Simple... someone doesn't knwo how to do addition and substruction, especially on dates, and is still in charge of those.
We saw multiple cases where this was manifested.
I think there is some lacking in multiplication too, since event currency calculation were wrong in past event requiring adjustment. But maybe they never did any calculation. So I'm not sure on their moltiplication proficiency.
Division was never required; so I suppose he/she/they might know how to do divisions correctly.

Sure. I just wish they handled it differently. If 12 screens is too much, then either reduce the number of available golden tickets or reduce the amount of time that each golden ticket lasts. The click-fest just annoys everyone, IMO.
