why shall we/i build productionsbuilding to get on with the storie

i think it's not a good idea to tell us what building we shall build. before i can move on with the storie. i have to build the new productions-building and do some production to get on with the storie. pls don't tell me how you want my city to look like or do you want to play the game for me

You can progress through the Continent Map and in the Research Tree, but would be lacking the quest section of the game. You do not have to keep a building that you do not want or does not fit with your strategy, you can sell it after completing the quest. Also, side quests are abortable, you are not forced to complete them. however, Main Storyline quests must be completed to progress.
