I've checked two of them and both have been closed. Yet, the last post in at least one of them is asking for more information. Was another thread started that I missed or why exactly have they been closed?

Pretty much what NormaJeane said: We need people to put their information in that specific thread, so it is more efficient to keep as bery few threads on this topic then have a lot of them which would make people just post in those random ones without evening noting the main
