I just saw this daily challenge: A mansion, and TWO TIMES a brownstone house... why no town house? Unfortunately I was too quick to choose the other choice, so I haven't a pic of this...

This can be normal behaviour depending on the Residential options in your city as a Brownstone House could fall into a short coin production category and a long coin production building of that Era. So whilst it looks odd, it's not a bug. Thanks for the report!
