Summary
Unify Guild Treasury Goods prodution Tooltips
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
Yes, but haven't found anything similar
Most Event- and other Buildings like Golden Fields, Celtic Farmstead, Statue of Honor, Great Elephant etc. show their Treasury Good production in Total, while GBs show it as per good production. This has lead to many misconceptions and Players not building Treasury GBs like Observatory or AI Core, because they're falsely believing they need to be much higher Level to exceed SoH or GE production as they actually need to be. Just had that discussion again like yesterday.

So this might be confusing to new players. According to you it must be cause Guilds have a problem getting enough goods from early era's. You don't know if it is, but you had a discussion with players all around. Rather strange then they did not tell you, so you could be sure. Strange as well is that you keep having discussions about it. When a new player asks me how somehing works, I tell them and the response I usually get is thank you. Not once has it ever lead to a discussion.

1.) I never said that exactly this MUST be the reason for each and any guild that has Treasury Good shortages, I only said it MIGHT be one reason contributing to it.

Why is that Strange? Has it ever been changed or did it stay the same since that type of boost got invented? Or is it the concept of multiple people having the same question / multiple people being taught the same (wrong) way, thus this being topic over and over again with different, independent players that confuses you?

Not once has it ever lead to a discussion.

And what exactly are we having here then?

I explained why it is trange. What about that did you not understand?

And what exactly are we having here then?

You trying to defend a lost cause.

At one time there were no buildings of any kind that gave goods to the guild treasury. Back then when a new inexperienced player joined a guild they were told how many goods they had to donate out of their own stock to cover their cost for the age they were in. They would be given a stated length of time to get their goods production up to speed. If they failed to do so they got let go. If a more experienced player joined they were expected to have already learned how many goods they would have to donate for the age they were in. If they did not they got booted. All very straight forward.

Then INNO gave us OBS which did that for us and let us keep all the goods we made. And as long as you leveled it to keep up as you age up you have no worries and the guild benefits. Again very straight forward.

OK problems can still arise

1. When a guild is started by a inexperienced player who has not taken the time to learn or thought through what being a guild Founder entails. So does not know what he/she is doing so cannot guide and advise anyone.
2. When someone who puts themselves first before the good of the guild joins, and tries to justify reasons why he/she should not have to make the effort to do anything to pay their way. They need to shape up and obey guild requirements or move on. Again very straight forward.

Any good good player (regardless of experience) will find a guild that suits his playstyle, build the treasury GBs the guild requires and also ask for advice on which Event buildings are good to build as many of those now have multiple benefits. If they join a guild that cannot give them the advice they need, or one where the Founder and leaders obviously are not bothered enough to instil discipline, then they move on.

Why are you argueing against points that weren't even made?
I agree on the fact that donation / treasury good productions goals are to be set by the Guild leaders. I also agree that experienced players should know about that and should already have a proper production. I also agree that no Guild needs players knowing about those costs for GE / GbG, yet not doing anything to compensate their share.

Yet, none of this was the point of the post. Point of the post soleley was that it is confusing to have incosistent and arguably even wrong tooltips, at times even for the same Building, nothing more, nothing less.

  • Popup in the GB Tab of the building menu / inventory says '+x Goods every 24h'

  • Popup in the City when hovering over a Treasury GB says '+x of each good every 24h'

  • Popup in the City when hovering over SoH or similar only says '+x'
So now imagine you're just starting the game, how exactly can you tell that Statement 1 actually means x5 while Statement 3 doesn't, without investing the ressources and space to build the GB first?

You left out click on "View" in the GB tab of the building menu. There a player can find a description of the GB as well as the requirements needed to plant it. I'll wager that this is where most players, new and otherwise, get their information about buildings that they are considering.

... complete with a popup wrongly stating that it produces +x goods instead of +x of each good, which would be the correct staement, as I already said like 20 posts ago.

Does it though?

And you will probably say it for the next 20 posts.

The point is that it is not likely many players will use that pop-up as the source of the information they are looking for.

No, the point is that this popup, just as the one in the inventory, is delivering false information.

Yes, there is one information popup that states that this production actually is times 5, but for that you have to navigate behind the wrong popup in the building menu, the wrong popup in the inventory AND the required goods overview, to find that one singular Infobox that tells you that production is actually times 5. And yes, I personally do find it problematic that 3/4 Info popups a player that hasn't built that GB yet has access to are not stating the actual correct amount of goods produced.

And I highly doubt that acutal new players are navigating straight to that Infobox, while ignoring each and every Popup on the way, if you're trying to tell me that that exact Infobox is the most likely one for new players to look at.

And even if it was, then there still are 3 Infotexts that simply aren't correct.

Then why bother with the pop up boxes?. Why not ask in guild what it the best way to go? Since the beginning of the game INNO has been famous for often posting misleading or just down right wrong information about stuff. ( Try making sense of their RNG) Or even stating they will add something or change something in the game, then do something totally different. Experience guild founders, leaders and players know this can happen and it is usually discussed in guild so that all members are aware. Stuff is duscussed in guild, members brain storm and come up with a work round to beat these inconsistencies in the game. That is how people learn. Often people will raise a ticket with support to find out what something actually means. Then share the answer they get back with the guild. If the info boxes bother you so much and you want clarity, try contacting support and see if they can explain it in a way you can understand.

That is your point, that you keep bringing up and up and up. You do not even read or try to understand the response you get,

Pericles was telling you that it is not very likely players will use that pop-up as their major source of info and you once again repeat "the pop-up is wrong" as if that addresses his remark.

It's like watching the Benny Hill show.
