Dear Queens and Kings,

Forge of Empires turned 5 this year - a very respectable age in this area of gaming! Lots of interesting things happened over that time, and many exciting new things were added to the game. Among them the Treasure Hunt - it has been with us for three years now. Since its introduction, the game has changed and evolved in many ways. It's now vastly different than at the end of 2013. If you're with us that long, you know that, unlike the rest of the game, the Treasure Hunt itself hasn't really changed.

First of all, as more and more features were added the significance of Treasure Hunt and its influence on the gameplay have been gradually fading away. That is also why it was never implemented for mobile and why there were no plans of doing that in the foreseeable future.

Now, with the introduction of two new cross-platform features which also cover TH's purpose - Incidents and Daily Challenges - the already small group of Treasure Hunt fans declined further.
For these reasons the feature was now disabled on Beta. Over the next days we will keep an eye on any possible implications this may have.
