I think a kit that decrease an event building's era by 1 era would be helpful. Most of the players use Bazaar for forge points, so less population requirement is better or Champion's Retreat could be used to get units from an older era where you battle in GVG.

I like the ranking points from my Bazaar. So I would never lower the age of them. On the other hand there are a lot of possibilities to increase population and the happiness...
