Feedback St. Patrick's Day Event 2026

Last piece of the puzzle wouldn't be the Platinum Up for the Goldsmith? Or even the frags of Ethernal market, before the second level 1 of the Lochan Lune?
For me, it would always be the building as I am trying to debunk a myth Inno was saying that it was possible to get without spending But, we all knew that Inno was full of it with each passing day, and nothing will change on what I think of them.

I don't care much for the goldsmith since I don't like temporary (ascended) buildings very much, and it served my purpose of getting FP until other buildings stepped in to do the deed without the chance scale, so I will plan to retire mine into the inventory for something else that can do the job.

As for the EM frags, if Inno didn't put them before the final piece of the building was made then we also know that it was meant to be spent instead of getting for free. The jacked-up looking rival made sure of that (and yes, I was trying to chain them up to get better odds that fell back on the a*se end of things).

How long it took?
The usual... 300/300 in about 1 to 1.5 days with the speedups, and then crafting the design to get higher to 350/350 .AND. keep the generation ahead of that max production I could achieve. There is nothing higher to get/buy for performance production (used ALL 5 managers for each 350...).
I was trying to get one of them to 400, but I needed more time.

My goal was beta testing the outer limits of the engine... looking for errors in extreme playing mode.

Did you not do any rivals? I see that 3 shamrocks at the top. :p

It turns out that the Patrick Event is not a mandatory event in the entire history of Foe!

Thank you for understanding this after 7 years of playing

@CrashBoom is correct. 2 or 3 - I did a few early (easy rivals...) then so as to get to 300 and get a few from gold pots so as to use the speedups but believe it or not, I could NOT advance anymore in RIVAL or city tasks. Rival got stuck because I could not get to 200 level upgrades (as it became so costly...).

However, it was fun to see the general concept of the venue collapse into itself, when you push up to , and into the edges.
I've always liked this event, from inception.

This year, I said I wanted to "get on the path to the highest I can make it go"... as my initial goal and test where it breaks, as I did that.

Good thing I had quit on the live side of things as I probably don't want to endure this. What a way to trash an event.

So, instead of removing garbage fillers, you decided to fill it with even more garbage fillers. I got buildings that make One Up kits (about 2 a day) and Finish All Supply Production (FASP-1) kits (about 3-4 daily) that will make your 6h Mass Supply Rush dwarf in comparison. I had already placed my Goldsmith building into inventory as I am not looking to ascend (in fact, trying to not have any temporary building other than the FT and TGs planted in my city); it's already "meh" at its gold level. But then again, one upgrade in the entire lane just spells J-U-N-K in my opinion (as yours do not even matter any more since you don't play your own game). The allies, I got thanks to that 400 drop in our boxes after that botched up start of the event.

Hmm, 1100 to 1475? So that means there is about 13 places that have more filler junk because Inno cannot just keep it refined like it was in the last couple of years (building - something else - building upgrade - something else - building upgrade - something else - building upgrade - lather, rinse, repeat). No more promises of a fully leveled max event building without spending (hell, that promise had been dropped for the last couple of years, and this shows why).

And, as always, there's has to be fragments. It can't be "Fragments of Empires" without them.

I am hoping the left was the original reward and the right is going to be the new reward or a bunch of players are going to feel being ripped off for spending on the Silver and Gold passes.

Wow, you finally realize your greedy little mistake, eh? But, I have no interest in trees since I put back the printer for them in inventory. I only went for the Sacred Celtic Farmstead kits and upgrades since it did landed me +90 more red QI attack.

This should have been done in the beginning when you decided to add a week on to this event. Instead, it was a bumpy ride where the first 3 quests were lost and I had to start on quest 4, followed by 2 or 3 days worth of daily quests that were rushed in, followed by 2 or 3 days without a quest, followed by this achievement when there are 4 quests remaining. It was a laughing riot along with that messed up Rival we got.

Luck is in the form of malice when they give you junk and never the good stuff. However, it should read "May your wallet be with you" as players are going to need it to get ahead.

So is the last upgrade needed for the Loch moved even further back on the price line to 1400, when even 1000 was barely even reachable for 80% of players?

I'm also mad because the allies were removed from the store. They were expensive, but I never make it far enough in the price lines for a full ally for ANY event. I was hoping you guys would just knock a zero off the price. I got a whole bunch of ally-less buildings because I'll earn the main price but not the ally from the event. The rest of the rewards had no value for me except the plat upgrade.

I appreciate the EM frags being more evenly distributed for the event, but if it causes the main price to be totally unattainable then you know what's the point? Is there some buff for the towns to make them do-able in a day without paying? Extra rewards from the rivals? I bet not.

Every nerf should come with a buff. Stop taking everything away from us and not offering anything in return. Most people got nothing out of this event and you want to make it worse on live? You shot yourself in the foot because all these beta people complained to their cohorts on live about how bad the event is that now you're definitely not going to gain as much $ as you would have if beta sang it praises.

Events should be FUN, not a CHORE or a drag.

MTG/Inno must have really enjoy the quarterly failures that stems from their gross incompetence, ignorance, and ultimately greed. Then they scream if we insult them. Cause and effect, folks, and I am not one to turn the other cheek, a blind eye, or deaf ear on something like this.

Rivals? Heh, they made a haphazard mess out this one that had occurred. Instead of keeping it at 2-day rival for one week, a break in between, and 2-day the next time (gonna think it was the first week and third week of the event when they were ran before this mess) it comes around for this kind of mechanic. Moreover, they instilled stupid things like having previous age guild goods donated, produce previous/current age goods, or even previous age supplies, without realizing the current meta that players don't use those things any more thanks to event and QI buildings that give rewards per tile than the clunkier buildings.

Some of the things that I had asked not to be implemented
• Previous Age Guild Goods Donations:
For those in Iron Age. It's stupid because you cannot donate bronze age goods to the guild. Players are not going to be forced to age up just because you want them to complete this for a little reward.
• Current/Previous Age Goods Production: Mainly the ones that require 2-lane roads to be placed next to the townhall as anywhere else would be incompatible and the building won't be built. A player cannot place a 2-lane road next to a 1-lane road and expect to build a 2-lane building on the spare corner of their city they use for events as that 2-lane road will still act like a 1-lane road. The ages affected would be from Progressive (Current Age Goods) that require a 2-lane road for their buildings to Space Age Mars (Previous Age Goods) that would require the same. And no one wants to blow up their real estate for placing such clunkier buildings anyways.
• Previous Age Supply Production: This is a new one I had seen with this past rival. Luckily I have a couple of one downs that I had to put on my 2 checkmates in order to finish this requirement. The One Downs come from the paying prize lanes (Silver and Gold) as they were not freely distributed. Majority of the players won't have this, therefore, the only recourse is that they will have to keep a few buildings in the previous age so they can be of use for this stupid rival quest.

Having these had transformed the game from "playing at your own pace, your way" to a very "dictating on how Inno wants you to play" kind with spending on top of it. And, it's also the kind that people will grow weary on and the game shutting down due to no support.

But, if there's an award for being "the rip off artists in the world", I will sure nominate Inno/MTG for it.

I was trying to think how i could summarise all this to my guildmates.
Having seen the changes made, my plans are exactly the same.

You need to get the Platinum Goldsmith at 475 progress.
The rival probably takes as much as he gives, but the early tasks are easier.
Don't worry if you fall behind with the rival.
Only open free chests at the end of each town.
Save POG to open all chests in two towns (to get a loaf house)
In the store, spend horse shoe things on Hippo and Flamingo ....

and .. nearly forgot ... there are some tasks in the rival that are either impossible or require so much effort that you will give up half way through.
