Investigating: Saving changes to threads on social tab

Troubleshooting
Yes and it happens to my co-founder as well
I am currently unable to save any changes I make to 1.9/1.95 etc. threads on the social tab. Every time I add, remove or give rights to other players the changes are not saved and on exiting the thread it reverts back to the previous version. My co-founder has the same issue. It does not happen on all threads only on those that were created more recently. This is causing real issues as we are unable to add joining members to the swap threads and delete those that have left us.

Browser or App
Browser
Browser or App version and version number
Chrome
Recreation steps
add a player, hit save, leave the thread, open thread, player does not appear in list, box appears "you changes have not been saved, do you want to save now" hit yes, leave, get back in, nothing is saved
Actual Behavior
Changes made are not saved
Expected Behavior
the player should appear in the list
Frequency
First noticed this about a week ago, but might have been happening earlier
Urgency
Urgent, we need to be able to add joining members or delete those that have left us to our threads
Can this be reproduced?
Yes

Ok, one of my guild mates who is in IT has found the problem. When there are emojis in the subject line they display as single characters, but are component ones that extend the allowed number of characters. This somehow throws off the save function. Deleting the emoji at the end of the line, saving, leaving the thread and then coming back in will then allow further changes to the member lists to be made and saved. Seems you are not only having a problem with emojis in the messages when it chops line brakes and misses letters.
