Rejected Return ability to self-aid using Diamonds

When I first began playing FoE, we were able to self motivate any bldg for 5 diamonds. Inno took that option away and replaced it with self-aid kits which seemed ok in the beginning. But now those self aid kits are extremely hard to come by and bldg's in my city always go unmotivated so I lose FP's and goods daily.
With INNO wanting to increase diamond sales why would they have taken this feature away. It seems like a good revenue source for them as I always used it
Can we please have the feature to self-aid using Diamonds back?
